90% of them say the politically correct stuff like:
- It's good for the league to have one superteam
- Durant is a free agent and can choose where he wants to work
- It doesn't have any impact on Durant's legacy
- It's not going to be easy.
- It doesn't mean Durant isn't a competitive guy.
Do they actually believe what they are saying? I can't possibly conceive how anyone could believe any of the above.
It seems like Stephen A Smith is the only one to have the balls the speak their mind. Well maybe Van Gundy to some extend.
These are the facts:
- It will be extremely easy for the Warriors to steamroll the league in both regular season and postseason because they simply have too much talent. They added the second best player to a 73-win team, which a lot argued was the best team of all time already before the King and Kyrie went berserk.
- It's absolutely bad for the league because the casual fans are not going to watch the other 25 or so teams.
- Durant has proven to the world he is a weak minded bish and has no competitive spirit at all. He had a contending team with a top 5 player as his partner and still don't feel confident enough that he had to join a 73-win champion.
- Anything short of a 68-win regular season AND a championship would be a huge FAIL for Durant and the Warriors.
