If it's to beat the Warriors I guess you need to do it in the half court and with defence.

Marc Gasol $3
Anthony Davis $5
Gordon Hayward $2
Jimmy Butler $4
Brandon Knight $1

everyone seems to be defaulting to Lebron so I'll try to make one without him

PG- CP3 $5
SG- JJ Reddick $1
SF- Paul George $4
PF- Porzingis $2
C- Deandre $3

Looks pretty great offensively and defensively.

Edit: Should've gone Gasol at C most likely.

Great defense at all positions, ton of spacing/firepower and athleticism but with a legit big man to cause problems in the paint.

I saw this thread on realgm. This is really unfair since potential starting five of
Draymond green 4
Iggy 3
Curry 6.5
Durant 6.5(both higher than 6 but not as good as 7
Klay thompson 4 ı actually think he is 5 but since u placed PG as 4
That would bring the total to 24. It should be at least 20$ not 15$

You need LeBron, I like Kawhi a lot better than PG so I'm taking him too. Get a tough rim protector/interior player, get an elite shooter, and get another shooter/defender at point.

1. Kawhi for 5 bucks
2. Rudy Gobert for 2 bucks
3. Russel Westbrook for 5
4. Kristaps Porzingis for 2
5. JJ Redick for 1

And there you go, good interior and perimeter defense to go along with shooting from everywhere and drivers to the basket

Don't know why you keep insisting on having Duncan and Manu.... Those guys are slow as hell and don't match up well with the Warriors at all. Not to mention they won't be able to be effective for more than 20 minutes at their current age.

This isn't easy to do. I mean Curry would probably be a $7 player and Durant would be a $6 or $5 player. Draymond Green would probably be a $4 player and Klay Thompson would be a $3 player. Even if you made Curry and Durant both $5, the Warriors have a minimum $17 with just four of their starters. Iggy probably is a $1 player given some of the other players that are in the "everyone else" category, but playoff Iggy is a $2 player. I know he won't start, but their five best players add up to about $20.

KAT and TT are quick, versatile defenders. I don't buy it, not when they'll be forced to switch on a healthy Curry. One anchor. Four wings. The best way to combat the Warriors. If you want size, take Lebron at the point... and play three 6'6-6'9 guys at 2-4. It would bother Curry, and they'd be able to matchup virtually on any of their players. But I'd still make Avery Bradley a priority, not only to man-mark Curry... but to give Lebron some relief.

jeff teague (pat beverly if I missed Teague being on any list that isn't the $1 bin), jj reddick, paul george, lebron, rudy gobert

smallball centric offense with a lot of shooters with playoff experience, and 2 playmakers who elevate their games in the playoffs at the 3 and 4 positions. Defense #1 in the league for sure. Teague and JJ are capable of 12-16 ppg if called upon. Teague has looked shaky in the playoffs when the Hawks looked to him to lead, but he won't have that dilemma with one of Lebron and/ or PG on the floor at all times.

Idk if I trust Gobert's health and the fact he's the only one not playoff proven, so I might have to switch him to Adams and upgrade George to Kawhi(pretty sure 95% of people will have a Lebron/Kawhi combo, and for good reason); but the Gobert report has quietly been a top 3 individual defensive impact for 2 seasons now. $2 for that production seems too much of a steal.

C - Rudy Gobert $2
PF - Giannis Antetokounmp $3
SF - LeBron James $7
SG - J.J. Redick $1 -or- Avery Bradley $1
PG - Mike Conley $2

This gives the team a good floor general in Conley to run the offense, a good perimeter defender with Bradley if you choose to use him. LeBron and Giannis can float around and not have to play PF or SF strictly because both of them can play 5 positions for limited periods of time. Giannis gives ultimate length and athleticism and Gobert is your premiere shot blocker of the league. LeBron can do chase down blocks, Gobert can protect the rim, Giannis can alter shots with his extreme length. Gobert can get good lobs from Conley and LeBron.

If you choose Redick you get a supreme 3P shooter. To spread the floor. Giannis is capable of hitting the three, but has struggled his last two seasons. His rookie year he hit it at a 35% clip. I think he's capable of hitting that shot especially with this team. The main thing I like is LeBron and Giannis aren't set players and can play 5 positions and make multiple lineups.

Good, but I think Redick gets hurt defensively too much here by Curry/Klay.

I think every team should have Lebron/Leonard. TT is good, but I'm wondering if Adams is better because he would punish them a bit more than TT would, but Adams isn't quite as good switching out and guarding. Tough call.

Do you think I'm stupid? & do you think it's always about being quick & athletic? When you factor in the other aspects of the game -- I would rather have players who are battle tested in the playoffs than players who never tasted lick of the conference finals. It's always the same b.s. with the Spurs naysayers, "They're too old! Too slow!" 1 ring and a couple of 2nd round exit. :lol Yeah, too old. Even the "old ass Spurs" Spurs alone took the Heat to G7.

Then you factor in the other guys in Russell Westbrook & Lebron.

.. then you build a solid bench.
