Obviously it was a major part of their pitch. He wanted to feel needed. The inference is obvious.

-Q: If the Warriors win it again this year and become two-time defending champions, does this maybe not happen like this?

-DURANT: They weren’t, though, you know? They weren’t. Who knows. We can talk about hypotheticals all day. But they weren’t.

That’s one thing I saw as well–they were so hungry to get back to where they ewre. Obviously they won 73 games. But they didn’t really care about that.

They didn’t come in and say, ‘Look, we won 73 games, you should be a part of our team.’

It was moreso, ‘You would fit in personality-wise, you would love playing basketball with this group of guys. And everybody complements each other on the court.’

Like I said, you could think about hypotheticals all day.

You interpreted this as a sign of him not signing with the Warriors had they won The Finals? Because, I thought those remarks indicated the exact opposite.

It honestly sounds like he is more worried about how they "compliment" one another on the court, which would have been the same either way.

Durant's thought process seems like that of an adolescent child. Not really young, but mid-teens. Very impressionable, very impulsive and very easily manipulated.

I don't think he has any idea what he's in for. There's venom out there for him now and he's going to feel it. As thin skinned as he has been in the past with minor media scrapes, I would bet it'll sting.

Shut up idiot...what Durant did is 10x worse than what Lebron did...stop letting your stupid ass hate cloud your thinking.

If you think what Kevin Durant did was bad

In reality, what LeBron did was worse

LeBron left his hometown team to join the players with the 2nd and 4th highest PER in the league (Wade and Bosh)

That would be the same as Curry leaving his hometown to join OKC (joining with the 2nd and 4th highest PER)

Then why didn't he say yes? Then proceed to talk about the fit, culture, etc.?

Can't believe people think that. KD saw the dubs losing as an opportunity to go head to head against Bran in the Finals and win FMVP. People forget that he averaged 30.6 PPG on 65 TS% in the 2012 NBA finals.

What's the difference other then the presentation (the decision, pep rally, etc.)? There's no logical reason to hate on Lebron's moves to Miami and back to Cleveland, and not hate on Durant's move to GS. They're all bitch moves and Durant's was probably the worst.
