It amazes me how SO MANY PEOPLE don't see the big picture and are easily manipulated to fall in line with whatever the government feeds them.

You're so deluded by short-termism and large statistical aggregations it's funny. If the Russian economy is "melting down" with a low amount of debt, a current account surplus, and the ability to withstand interest rates of 10%, then what on earth is happening to the US economy, with its interest rates at zero percent, its debt amongst the highest in the world (right up there with Sudan, Greece, Italy, Portugal), and which is still running a deficit?
