Russell Westbrook in 2014-15: 67 games, 40-27

40-27 translates to 49-33 in 82 game season.

49-33 with that roster is good.

Kevin Durant is just a bitch who wants to be literally carried to a championship.

yeah interesting numbers, using advanced statistics the loss column can be directly attributed to one key factor, the big -3.5 missing from the vertical of Russel Westbrook.

If he had that he could truly live upto 'mini-lebron'

Are you saying that is good or bad?

And this roster is much better . They will reach about 55 wins .

They finished 45-37, so they were 5-10 without him.

Anyone know how many games Durant played of those 15?

I love westbrook but i dont think his game is going to improve from here. its quite downhill from this point.

yeah, i'm still on fence about how OKC can do w/ their current roster. They're better than the KD-less 14-15 team. But I'm still skeptical about 50 wins. Utah, Minny, even Denver should all be better. I wanna say the Northwest winner may have just 44-46 wins and it could really be any of the 5, even Denver.

Westbrook is going to average some insane #s with poor efficiency and underachieving record.

Yeah, he's probably peaked or is at his peak now. He has a rather reckless style that relies on more athleticism than the average player.

Hopefully he'll have more longevity and stay at a high level for longer.

I had similar thoughts about Iverson. He actually stayed at a high level longer than I expected, putting up 33 PPG in his early 30s. That surprised me, but when he eventually did decline, it was fast and dramatic.

It will take an MVP effort for anything better than the 8th seed

Oladipo will surely sabotage them down the stretch in a handful of games and Donovan was relying heavily on superstar Iso ball last season, now he has to implement greater team oriented strategies (its called passing the ball, something they were terrible at) and I don't know if he will be good enough to guide them very far without KD.

Donovan was elite in the playoffs
