1A. Kobe Bryant vs Boston 2010
1B. Steph Curry vs Cleveland 2016

I've been watching NBA since the 70's, and honestly can't remember any superstars playing worse than these two in game 7 home games. Can anyone else think of any names to add to the list?

Another thing that nobody mentions about Stephen's game 7 is he completely wasted an unbelievable game from his teammate Draymond Green.

Draymond had 32/15/9/2 on 11-15 with only 2 TO's. One of the best game 7 performances I've ever seen. He was easily the best player on the court and deserved to win more than anybody.

Time to address the most strangely forgotten mediocre performance in recent years that rivals both of these performances. Curry had the worst game of these 3 guys in eye-test terms, but...

What if I told you one of the all-time greats had a 10/27 shooting performance with 5 turnovers, finishing with 25 points on 42% TS in a home game 7 right before he won FMVP? Credit to the Pistons great defense and team to be sure, but got DAMN Timmy was mediocre offensively in that final. As well as that Game 7 where the Spurs damn near squandered two home games in a row to lose a 3-2 lead.

It's certainly up there for one of the bottom-tier home G7 performances in a long time.

Yeah, but if your only argument is rings, than I can just use Robert Horry, who has 7. You don't want to go there :lol

LeBron has 3 as the best player Kobe has 2. Not LeBron's fault he never played with anyone better than him :confusedshrug:

Technically it is his fault because if he hadn't insisted on being top 2 all-time, he might have been able to be in that Kobe role at some point of his career.
