That day ended on July 8th, 2010.

It was then beaten like a dead horse on July 11th, 2014.

The NBA did everything they could to supplant the "rapist" as the greatest since Jordan, but you can't squeeze blood from a turnip.

The greatest skill the game has ever seen overcame the evil plot.

No one respects Bran as a true all time great.

damn, it has to be awful being a Kobe fan/Lebron hater.
But that is what you get for trying to sell something that isn't true for years.

He can win a title with Cleveland by overcoming a 1-3 deficit to the greatest team of all time while being the best player on both ends and leading all statistical categories from both teams in the series including the biggest defensive play in NBA history in a game 7 on the road

Kobe is an all time great but LeBron is much better.

Kobe had a 3-1 series lead and lost.

LeBron faced a 3-1 series deficit and won...against the winningest team in NBA history.

LeBron has better stats. LeBron has more MVPS. LeBron has more FMVPS and rings as the best player on his team. LeBron has better playoff stats. LeBron has better finals stats. LeBron is more well-rounded. LeBron scores more points than "Mamba da GOAT scora evah!". LeBron is a better passer. LeBron is a better rebounder. LeBron is a similar level of scorer as Kobe. LeBron can guard more positions than Kobe. LeBron is more athletic than Kobe. LeBron is a smarter player than Kobe. LeBron has more game winners in the playoffs. LeBron has beaten a 73 win team. LeBron has come back from a 3-1 deficit. LeBron brought Cleveland their first ever championship. LeBron had more 40 point final games in the span of about 3 days this past finals than Kobe did in his life.

LeBron is better than Kobe.

Shit might just happen if Bron's kid ends up as good as his dad.

On a serious note, I think it was quite sad to see what happened to Kobe stans.

By age 23, Kobe had 3 rings and the hype train was in full effect at ESPN/SI/Fox/Etc covering the most storied franchise of all-time. It did indeed look like he would keep improving and could become top 10 one day. So many young fans latched onto him. It wasn't their fault.

Honestly, and I don't say this to bash Kobe, this is part of why people should really never talk about being "on pace" to achieve things other than cumulative stats, and even then it's iffy.

Think about the pace Kawhi Leonard is currently on. It's possible he only gets 1 or 2 more rings in his whole career with maybe just one FMVP the rest of his career. But as of right now he's a back to back DPOY and former FMVP who already has a ring so young, so it seems blasphemous to assume under Pop and whoever Pop leaves the team to, that he would ever have anything other than an extremely decorated career.

But he might. He just might. Even Curry MIGHT get held to like 2-3 rings. Derek Jeter and the rest of the Yankees '90s core was on pace to achieve a historic amount of success, and they still did, but the second halves of all their careers seem a bit emptier because almost all their team dominance came in the first 5 years they played.

Imagine those guys without 2009. Or Brady and Bill without 2014. The recent part of those tenures would seem so empty (though it's a lot harder in those two sports to blame individuals for lack of titles), and things like that are always possible in sports. That's why if you're Curry and KD you can't approach this with the "not one, not two..." mentality, but LeBron fell into that trap and I suspect they will too. There's enough pressure already without worrying about that stuff and building in more stress. :lol

Oh.. wait...

Oh.. wait...

You seemed to have forgot the fact that Adam Silver suspended Draymond Green under dubious circumstances

And Andrew Bogut's knee got taken out by JR Smith in the following game

And Andre Iguodala suffered from back spasms and could hardly move and had a -25 (+/-) because of it

And Stephen Curry was suffering from a major MCL injury as well

The difference between Steph Curry being healthy was a huge factor

Most 4th Quarter Points during the Finals

1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)
1993 Michael Jordan 10.3

In the 2016 Finals he was not able to play as well as he did in 2015

What happened in 2016 that didn't happen in 2015? The major MCL injury

http://i.ytimg.com/vi/m_8DziMFB8s/0.jpg

Therefore we can conclude that Curry's MCL injury was the differentiating factor which lowered Curry's production

What kills stalker the most is Lebron, despite being the much more accomplished player in terms of FMVP and MVPs, and despite being a far better leader/two way player, also dominates the NBA through the super friends. Bron runs the NBA literally and everyone looks up to Bron/CP3/Wade/Melo and associates. Kobe didn't even have a friend let alone superfriends :coleman: :coleman:

On the contrary, OP.

He has already surpassed him, in MULTIPLE ways:

1) In finals losses (double the amount, with room to add)

2) In times he changed teams (2 times already before the age of 31)

3) In amount of teammates hitting crucial finals legacy-bailout shots (Ray Allen in 2013, Kyrie in 2016)

4) In amount of teammates that f*cked his mom

1. So have Magic, Kareem, Wilt who are all above Kobe in most people's eyes.

2. So what? You don't really need to change teams when you play with Shaq the 1st 8 years of your career for a great organization.

3. Shots in the playoffs are just as important since you wouldn't make the Finals if they didn't happen. There are just too many examples to count for Lakers making clutch shots even if the same is true for Lebron. Also, Kyrie's shot wasn't a bailout shot idiot, they were tied.

4. Lol

Seriously what a pathetic effort. I expect more from Kobe stans when they've been arguing this topic for like 10 years.
