The Portland Trail Blazers have matched Allen Crabbe's four-year, $75M offer sheet with Brooklyn, league source tells @TheVertical.
Sounds like Miami might match Tyler Johnson as well.

Sucks for Brookyln:facepalm

Damn... life of a Nets fan is not an easy one. I expected to nab at least one if not both. Even if we're paying top dollar for unproven guys, they've both got plenty of upside and I think Crabbe specifically is going to be a stud. Johnson can too.

I don't know how anyone could dig us out of this hole that King and Prokhorov put us in. :lol

Why? Now they are paying Turner and Crabbe (both SF's) the same, 4yr/75m.

$150m over 4 years for two guys who play the same position.

What the ****, lol.

How they going to reach the floor cap now? If neither guy, that's 25 million under it.

The nets are gonna have to do what Philly did just pay their players already on the team more. None of the free agents are worth it.

Damn, was hoping to get him. Don't care about Johnson that much.. but Crabbe is nice. We haven't had a talented shooter like that since Kerry Kittles.

Portlan better match. Can't let guys who can shoot it and put it on the floor go when you have guys like Lillard and McCollum who need them to space the floor.

A huge overpay for a bench player. Portland should not have matched. Maybe this would have made sense for the Nets because they planned on starting him.

agreed. I don't like it for Portland. Plus, will either dude even start over Aminu? I doubt Aminu moves to PF. But either Turner or Crabbe can play the backup SG (since Hendrson left), so i'm not concerned about position redundancy as much i am for paying that for bench players.

I do like it for Miami, tho.

They'll probably go for some untradable contracts
