View Full Version : Iggy gave some problems to Lebron because he is past his prime.

Where was this joker when LeGOAT was in his prime in 2011???
LeBeast was straight clown stomping all over this joker in the first round when he was with the 76ers.
LeGendary now occasionally has problems against Iggy because he is past his prime. In 2015 LeOnlyPlayerToComeFromDown3-1InTheFinals was past his prime and was carrying the whole Cavs crew so of course to clowns it look like Iggy was defending LeOnlyPlayerToBeatA70+WinTeamInFinals well.
If Iggy had to face LeFirstPlayerToWinGame7OnTheRoadIn38Years he would get demolished just like he did in 2011.

Its usually easier to defend when the other teams 2nd and 3rd options are out, aswell as when you have 2 of the best defenders in the league at the rim waiting to help

Yep, but it didn't work for the Warriors because LeBron was hitting his jumpshot.

That's the best formula to shut down his scoring, but it still requires a de facto double team, and with any respectable amount of help, it usually won't get the job done.
Neither Iggy nor Kawhi nor... Boris Diaw or anyone else people want to throw out there has ever "locked down" LeBron without bigs shading over and waiting defenders. They all deserve credit for doing their part but no one player can stop or really even contain LeBron.
That being said, if I had to win one game against LeBron James for my life and had my pick of the litter to build my team, I'd probably have Iggy as primary defender on him even over better defenders like Leonard. He has by far the most experience against him out of any current great defensive wing.

Yeah because I forgot that age IS THE ONLY REASON YOU CAN LOSE YOUR PRIME.
Losing your prime has nothing to do with carrying teams since 18 years old in a professional league not some soft ass college clown league and having the most playoff minutes of any active player currently in the NBA.

Funny how shutting down a clumsy guy with no jumper warrants you to become "one of the leagues best defenders".
Iggy has shut down more explosive players than Lebron.
Kyrie tho.....
Nothing iggy could do with him.

Iggy can not stop Lebron...Its because they lost Bogut and thats when Lebron had $$$$ in his eyes. No shot blocker means Lebron can do any of the following and it would be a good play..
1. Low post up
2. high post up
3. Baseline cut
4. V cut from the wings
5. PNR
6. Elbow
without a shot blocker and Draymond wrestling with TT, Lebron just had to pull one move, a counter move + bump and he is getting an easy one.

Yep, but it didn't work for the Warriors because LeBron was hitting his jumpshot.
Or because all 3 of the Warriors best defenders were taken out of comission due to either dubious suspensions or injury. (Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut, Andre Iguodala)

Green played 2 of those three games. Iggy played the Final three games (1.5 injured), Bogut played in 1.5 of the last three games. Warriors had 2 of the games at home. Warriors were beating teams in the West without Curry being the lineup.
No excuses.

A "clumsy guy with no jumper" had more 40 point games in the finals in a span of about 3 days than your loveryboy did in his entire career.

LeBron was only able to score 40 points when Golden State was missing three of their best defenders. (Draymond Green, Andrew Bogut, Andre Iguodala)

LeBron scored 40 points twice in last years finals, however he did it on 52% TS
Also let it be known LeBron scored 6 points off intentional free throws during the last minute of play during game 3
