I NEVER had any problem with countries taking in actual Syrian refugees from Syria who were vetted properly and were ensured to have zero ties to terrorism.

Also, the refugees who were allowed entrance should have come DIRECTLY from Syrian refugee camps. Priority should have been given to the elderly, infirm and children, in other words those least equipped to endure hardship. Instead it was a free for all.

No. She was in East Germany. East Germany was under communist rule. Merkel joined the Communist Free German Youth as a teenager. It was a political youth group supporting the dominant political party in East Germany at the time.
