Pre-injury Shaun Livingston with a better passing game and slightly higher IQ.
I think his basketball IQ is overrated. He's a good passer. His shooting is bad.
The commentators during the D league game of 76ers vs warriors keeps mentioning Shaun Livingston compared to McCants on the Warriors but I Think it's a better comparison towards where Simmons is at 19.
I'm not downgrading Simmons, I just don't think he's a LeBron type of player.

Livingston has always been a great mid range shooter tho. Isn't he more of a giant Rubio?
Whoever compare him to Lebron as an overall player is kidding themselves.

I see more Livingston since Rubio was never a huge point guard. I don't think he has the same passing ability at this point as Rubio but he should be there in a year or so.

Did you mention Livingston because he's the last non-center to make 2 or less 3 pointers in college after Simmons?
Anyways SL can't rebound or drive like Simmons or Lebron. If it ain't Lebron then the comparison has to be

Don't let the highlight packages fool you.
Simmons is averaging 10/7/5 on 37% fg, 67% ft against mostly D-League players.
He has a lot to prove before he is even Livingston level player.
