"I don't know how their rankings go or anything else. I don't really care where the rankings go, I'm in the conversation. I'm O.K. with that. That's above and beyond anything I ever thought I'd ever be. That in itself is an honor."
Tim Duncan on back-to-back MVPS: "At that point, I believed in what I could do. Being a competitor, I wanted it year after year after year. I remember being disappointed years after that when I wasn't able to be MVP. I believed in what I was. I didn't believe that would translate into any of the five championships. But I knew that I could affect the game."

Duncan's ability to affect the games goes beyond stats. It's very IQ based. For that reason, and for not being flashy, I believe he will get underrated as time goes by. It just hit me, it's the opposite of Kobe.

:applause: :applause: :applause: Sad and yet inspiring to see Kobe and Duncan go out proudly. Another passing of the greats of a generation.

He should be fine though with the 5 rings though. Nobody will be forgetting that.

highest BBIQ top 10 would be 10 point guards.
Same way top 10 defensive players would all be centers/bigmen

Tim Duncan is better than Kobe, for basketball reasons.
