LeBron= 0 series wins shooting under 42%
Mike = 3 series wins shooting under 42%
LeBron was never allowed to shoot that bad, too weak help/strong opponent.
Mike shot 40.0% in the '93 ECF (won 4-2 with Pippen as MVP), 41.5% in the '96 finals (won 4-2), 38.7% in the '97 ECF (won 4-1 with Pippen as MVP).
LeBron did MORE besides the scoring, too, in rebounding/playmaking.
Interesting.

Lebron had the overall better opponents and better stat lines ALL while having a lesser supporting cast than ordan... ALL while NEVER losing a game when he was 48 mins from a championship..
If Lebron and jordan switched places, lebron would EASILY have 8-10 rings thats no question..
Lebrons first 3 titles statlines
2012 Finals game 5 stat line - 26-11-13 on 56% TS%
2013 Finals game 7 stat line - 37-4-12 on a GOAT level 69.8% TS%
2016 Finals game 7 stat line - 27-11-11 on 48% TS%
Jordans first 3 titles
1991 finals stat line- 30-10-4 55% TS% coattailed pippen's 32 and paxon's clutch buckets late
1992 Finals stat line- 33-4-4 on 63% TS%-Almost lost again but went into lebron mode late.
1993-Finals stat line- 33-7-8 on 56% TS% Lost a game clinching game 5 and almost choked game 6 before being bailed out by a paxon 3 that he was barely involved in.
The stats dont lie lebron is ATLEAST on par with jordan's first three titles while doing it with a LESSER supporting cast agianst BETTER opponents..

There's something to be said about a guy that would rather win ugly than protect his stats when things get hairy. There is a such thing as having a great boxscore but a bad game if the guy stops shooting necessary tough shots and becomes ultra passive or passive-aggressive in order to avoid criticism.

Yet, LeBron's '15 finals was ugly start to finish without Irving... and he didnt stop shooting... but it wasnt enough, because of how terrible his team was. Had he for example happened to be on the '96 squad playing the Sonics, that performance WOULD have been good enough to win.

Is that the series where the Warriors dared Lebron to shoot jumpshots and he couldn't make them? Why did he shoot below 40%?

we have to remember that MJ played with an all-time great impact supporting cast
they could nearly replicate his output without a replacement

MJ was better than LeBron at Man Defense and Jump/FT shooting. LeBron is on-par or better at everything else.
