I think he will make up for the loss of Harden and Durant. Plus that one year of Kevin Martin was really something.

They got lucky drafting Adams, but they still vastly undersold Harden. It's like when people defend the Gasol trade, even though Memphis traded him for pennies on the dollar. But their second round pick on Marc Gasol ended up become a beast. The Harden trade was one of the worst of all-time.

When you can trade a 6th man of the year, and future all-star for someone that padding their scoring numbers on perennially s.hitty teams.....well, you just have to pull the trigger.
