As a neutral outsider on this subject, The Warriors 'title' with Cleveland's injuries was WAYYYYY more of an asterisk.

And its not even close.

The only thing that matters is the FMVP vote battle between LeBron and Curry

Right now it's 15-0 LeBron, will be interesting to see how this progresses

As if losing Kyrie and Love for a whole series compares to losing the raymond for 1 game, not due to injury, when youre a 73 win team, up 3-1 with HCA.
Dont you remember he was kicking peoples balls!!!!! Arent the NBA going to crack down on that this season ( Draymond rule http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/the-draymond-rule-nba-to-focus-more-on-hits-to-groin-area/ )

Meanwhile he was recruiting KD all season, including during the WCF.

weak as shit.....Cavs already won this rivalry and LBJ cemented his legacy as a a top 3 player all time.

It's hard to believe people were comparing this Warrior team to the mid 90s Bulls...jesus christ. Those Bull teams were full of MEN...this Warriors team is full of BOYS. The Bulls exuded confidence and never needed some bitch ass fans like these Warrior fans to embarrass themselves on their behalf. The Bulls beat you before the match even started because they were in your head from moment you walked into the arena.

Warriors are 7-6 against the Cavs. Neither team has won this rivalry. Both finals featured injuries to key personnel.

And before Kyrie emerged as a superstar in the finals, the Cavs we're toying with trading him or Love for CP3, Melo.

2011 tells us all we need to know about Lebron. Anyone with a brain knows that beating a GSW team that is at 40-45% of themselves with a team that is 85% isn't impressive, just like we know that the year before that GSW beating the Cavs wasn't impressive. People try to make claims that the Cavs situation in 2015, was much worse, but it's closer than people like to think. Iggy with a bad back, Dray suspended, Curry playing at 50% of himself due to injury, Bogut injured during the series... it was basically Klay vs the Cavs.

Unfortunately you won't be able to see a real rematch because KD is a bitch.

This forum is also riddled with idiots and trolls.

No one who really understands the way the NBA operates believed that the Cavs were going to trade a 23-year-old with an almost perfect game to play off of LeBron and an almost limitless ceiling for a 31-year-old conventional PG whose game would almost certainly clash with LeBron and whose best days are likely behind him.

There were definitely "stories" about it in the media... just like there are click-bait stories put out there every day. That doesn't mean it had even a grain of truth to it.

If Curry and Thompson miss the playoffs and lose to the Cavs in 6 in The Finals this year and then the Warriors lose KD for the season, but come back otherwise healthy in 2018 and beat the Cavs ... and then the Cavs acquire Anthony Davis or Kawhi Leonard in the 2019 offseason, we will have the tie-breaker that next year.

Until all of that happens, there is no comparing what happened in 2015 to 2016 and certainly no comparing 2016 to 2017 and beyond. Maybe Kevin Love will devote this season to trying to convince Kawhi Leonard to come to the Cavs and he'll do it.

At that point, we'd have some legitimately comparable tie-breakers.

The Warriors have a glorified All-Star team. There are FOUR All-NBA players on the roster, including the MVP winners from the last three seasons.

Pay them no mind, as they can't understand simple concepts like the Cavs being 85% in the finals playing against a team that is 40-45% and a shell of themselves. How is a 3-1 comeback impressive when the team that is up has nothing left in the tank at that point due to the difficult WCF they just went through?

"But Lebron led in all 5 categories!!"

The same Lebron that got shitted on by guys like Jason Terry just 5 years before? Just stop yourself right there.

LOL literally any superstar playing against that weakened, shell of themselves GSW team would have lead in 5 different categories especially if the 2nd best player on their team was so efficient that he could shoot 40ppg on 75% shooting! Was not impressed.

Actually it's a very truthful and highly probably statement. Truth hurt that much? Keep pretending that Lebron didn't have a guy on his team that dropped 40ppg on 75% shooting and that GSW was as healthy as they were in 2015 finals. (they were like 40% of what they were)

Whatever is needed to cast lebron in the most positive light to over embellish what really took place.

Yep, let's just phrase it as "73 win team in the Finals" and not add any context as to what the condition of that team was by the time they were up 3-1.

I mean, if we don't add any context it creates this unique effect that Lebron was able to lead in 5 different categories against the greatest team of all time! 73 wins!

Unfortunately that's not how the real world works because everyone who watched those 7 finals games knows what happened and why leading in 5 separate categories really isn't all that impressive relative to what the other top 10 all time players have achieved in their best finals series. Take context into account and look at the big picture knowing that GSW in games 5-7 were a shell of themselves, while the Cavs were damn near running on all cylinders. Iggy with a bad back, Dray suspended for a game effecting his play upon return, Curry playing at 50% of himself due to injury, Bogut injured during half the series.... but ya... that's the same regular season 73 win team. Much like the 2015 Cavs in the finals was the same regular season team huh?

Now if you want to criticize Curry for not leading in 5 separate categories when the roles were reversed in 2015 and Curry was playing a shell of a Cavs team, you won't get any push back from me, but then again Curry isn't exactly a top 10 player now is he?

The lead in 5 different categories makes for a nice story, but then you look at the context in which is happened and it really isn't as impressive as the lebron stans try to make it out to be.
