You do realize the teams the Spurs played in 1999 and 2003 weren't all that great either right? Meh ... too often stats can be used for anything. Yes, it's very impressive that Lebron has five 40 point games in 7 finals, but there's the always the opposite side of the coin. Lebron had a playoff career low of 7 points in a 2014 Miami loss to Indiana. 2/10 from the field. He had 8 points in a loss in game 4 of the 2011 Finals. For comparison, Jordan's career low in the Finals was 22 points. Lebron's had many multiple playoff and finals numbers well below that.
