You can't just throw money at people and expect it all to magically change.


There's a mentality and lack of education to overcome. Most governments couldn't survive without most of the population at their mercy and under their control.


People with money and power are a threat to the government, which is why they look after their own and the elites, while the lower to middle class are weighed down by taxes and other expenses.

give these kids more opportunity. put free trade schools in the hood that train 6 months to 2 years for certifications. build business incubators that offer entrepreneurs spaces they can work out of at very low costs. build a community sports and fitness center that provide youth sports programs for kids and adults and that provide low cost gym memberships. build a community cafeteria that offer meals for $1.50 and free to any kids under a certain age. and last but not least a homeless shelter. a library wouldnt be bad either. all of this on one campus like a mini university.

What happens when you open up nice schools in the ghetto? They're destroyed. Malls? Same thing. You don't need to look any further than your closest metropolis.

Here in Indy, Washington Square Mall on the SE side used to be real nice about a decade or so ago. Now? Not so much. So what did the city do? Build a nicer mall (two of them actually) on the north side of the city, where the rich white people live. Now Washington Square is a ghost town. Several were shot there last December. That's actually where I adopted my dog, and when I went to see him for the first time, I told my girlfriend not to meet me (it was late) because I didn't want her there. There were maybe 30 cars in the parking lot, two were cop cars.

So what do you have now? A huge mall, with no operational stores. Less traffic means less business for nearby restaurants. Property values go down because nothing is profitable. Then everyone simply packs up, and moves away to greener pastures.

There are very few places in this country, in fact, on the planet, where large groups of African Americans have settled that is... successful. That's a fact. No country. No city. No towns. Show me anywhere on Earth where there is a successful, prospering location consisting almost entirely of blacks. There isn't one.

Amazing how Asians have come here from far away, seperated from their people by a vast ocean, no money in their pockets, language AND writing completely different than than their native one, yet still succeed and commit less crime than whites, hispanics, and blacks. Latinos come to this country with very little, and although they are closer to their people and their alphabet is close to the same, the language is still different. Yet Latinos commit less crime, and manage to have a higher ownership rate and seek higher education versus blacks. Most blacks in the last 50 years have been born into multi generational native born families yet still lag behind Latinos and Asians.

you are talking about malls though. im talking about a solution that will give young people a new culture of opportunity to mature and better themselves so that they grow up understanding what responsibility is and that they dont go out in society and ruin things like malls.
