I understand the population in terms of relativity, but the point still remains if you watch the news you would think that blacks are constantly getting killed by police while whites are not.

The media has an incentive to show cops killing black people because it draws in viewership.

yes, i agree that the media pushes this agenda down our throat but it's a legitimate concern. if you're a minority in white america, you WILL have to be extra careful when interacting with police officers. put a heart rate monitor on a police officer approaching a whiter person vs a black person and you'll have all the data you need.

This I agree with. I do think police officers on average are more fearful of a black person compared to a white person and this is a valid issue. I'm not sure how to fix this issue because there is the elephant in the room which is black do commit more crime per population compared to white people and police officers have more interaction in lower income community where crime tends to be higher and black people and hispanics tend to make up a larger portion of these communities , and the only way to solve this problem is to solve the issue of poverty and fixing the nuclear family amongst other things.

The biggest issue is black people are dealt a shitty card at birth on average in the US. They are raised in poorer communities with a higher crime, have a higher chance of being raised in a one parent household, higher chance of getting arrested at younger age then being precluded from getting a job at a later date and so forth.

Thsee two videos contrast the difference in how blacks and whites are treated by the police. The first video of Dylan Roof being arrested, the police calmly walk up to this man guns holstered, as if this was your typical traffic stop. Neveemund the fact that he had just killed 9 people in cold blood. And they know thus and know he's armed.

The second video is of Diamond Reynolds. The girlfriend/passenger when Philandro Castille was killed by police. She's done nothing wrong, and yet police keep their distance, have their guns drawn on her the whole time, have her walk backwards to them, and then have her get on the ground to handcuff her.

Blacks and Whites do not receive the same treatment. And please don't bring up stats, cuz we know that the white guy is a murderer and the black women watched her boyfriend be murdered.
