I wonder if that means Westbrook is getting shipped for multiple players?

Stupid on OKC's behalf.

With Oklahoma City leading the 73 win Golden State Warriors 3-1 in the Western Conference finals and on the brink of getting back to the finals, Dion Waiters averaged the following:

2.7 ppg, 16.7% fg, 11% 3PT, 31.5 mpg, 6.0 fga and 31.5 mpg

He completely disappeared and resorted to the same old inconsistent Dion Waiters that we have all seen over his first few years in the league. Why overpay for such an inconsistent player like that?

It obviously doesn't all lay at Dion's feet, because Russ Westbrook and Kevin Durant were as guilty as anyone in that collapse against GS. The duo of Westbrook and Durant managed to only shoot 37.5% from the field and 26% on three pointers over the final three games of that series.

The inefficiency of those three players were major reason why OKC lost.

He's not that good, we've been saying that.

Great move, he's a net negative. Oladipo and Abrines are big upgrades. Get Payne on the floor more too.

I have no problem with OKC not wanting to pay Waiters big money, but it's still surprising they would lift his QO and not even give themselves the opportunity to match. I think that makes it clear they have no intention on paying the luxury tax this year.
