Oh my goodness:eek:is that the season where he single handedly took Detroit to 7 games and had multiple playoff game winners in pivotal 1st round games along with a 30 point triple double playoff debut?:biggums:

Good God Almighty what have I just seen:biggums: :wtf: :lol

Damn, if I didn't know any better I'd say that he would eventually go on to lead his team form a 3-1 deficit and beat a 73-9 team with the UNANIMOUS MVP and make a game-saving block and game clinching FT!

I don't think that could EVER happen...

OR WOULD IT

Negative. Not with those Dray-inflicted wrist woes. How would he step to the stripe to knock down a FT of that magnitude after that?

Not sure what the stats say, but I felt like 05-06 was his best season at bulling his way to the rim.

LeBron was already top 5, arguably top 3 by this point. His defense was still improving but he was already an elite scorer, passer, and of course a very good rebounder.

2005-06 was also the year of the perimeter player, in which he, Kobe, and AI all had the best scoring seasons of their careers.

Isn't that the season where everyone and their dog put up a career high in scoring?

Kobe 35ppg, AI 33ppg, Arenas 29ppg etc. Even Elton Brand put up 25ppg :lol

This was right after the interpretation of handcheckng. 9 out of the top 10 scorers were perimeter players and EVER ONE was putting up 50's even playmakers:roll:

Kobe, AI and Arenas is considered "everyone and their dog"?

Jordan hit the game-winner to win national championship at 18 years old, which is more impressive than Lebron missing the playoffs as an NBA rookie in 2004, while achieving a lower PER than 40-year old Jordan did the prior year in 2003.

Also, Jordan set the playoff scoring record in his 2nd season, averaged 37 ppg in his 3rd season, and doubled Lebron's averages at 22 years old against a championship team and #1 defense:

Jordan vs. 86' Celtics:. 44 ppg on 50%
Lebron vs. 07' Spurs:I. 22 ppg on 36%

That, and Steve Nash defies all conventional logic by peaking at 31/32 from the PG spot. Iverson, at 31, suddenly becomes a 45 percent shooter after a decade of 40% shooting seasons.

That period between 2004 and 2006 was very much an aberration, defenses adjusted and numbers went down to more realistic levels.

14 ppg in ACC as freshman and being hero of national championship > chucking and bricking indiscriminately with atrocious fundamentals while playing the NBA's horrible iso-ball brand of basketball

Jordan hit the game-winner to win national championship at 18 years old,
Then Worthy left UNC and MJ proceeded to choke while favored the next 2yrs. Couldn't even get to the Tournament Finals.

Also, Jordan set the playoff scoring record in his 2nd season,

Only played 3 games.
