Curry has already surpassed LeBron as the best player in the league

With Curry leading the dynasty in Golden State, his career resume should be stacking up pretty well within the next few seasons

A dynasty that couldn't even capitalize on a 3-1 finals lead with their best players being chokers is not a dynasty :lol

Surely the best player in the league would dominate the playoffs and Finals right?

Care to post Curry and Lebron's Finals stats?

GS's lost with a 3-1 finals lead because their best players were either injured or suspended

They lost because their 'star' player and MVP plays like Jimmer Fredette as soon as the Finals start.

In 2015 Curry put on one of the most clutch performances in Finals history

Most 4th Quarter Points during the Finals

1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)
1993 Michael Jordan 10.3

In the 2016 Finals he was not able to play as well as he did in 2015

What happened in 2016 that didn't happen in 2015? The MCL injury

http://i.ytimg.com/vi/m_8DziMFB8s/0.jpg

The time table for return of an MCL sprain is 2 to 4 weeks.

(Keep in mind that healing timetable is for every day activity, nothing more strenuous than walking up one flight of stairs, NOT playing professional basketball)

Stephen Curry returned from the injury after only 2 weeks because the Warriors were struggling against Portland without him.

Stephen Curry re-aggravated his knee injury by coming back too early and then playing 40+ minutes of playoff basketball plus overtime during his record setting performance in Portland.

Therefore we can conclude that Curry's MCL injury was the differentiating factor which lowered Curry's production

Steph Curry got locked down in the biggest possession for this team. By Kevin Love.

"There isn't any surgery or anything in my future this summer. I need to get healthier, but there is no excuses for what happened on the floor," Curry said. "I was out there, ready to play. I had some good games, I had some bad games. And that's it. I'll come back stronger next season and be ready to go."

Yikes.

Honestly, you're like the Curry version of 3ball. Curry won't ever be as good as LeBron is now, let alone as good as LeBron was up until 2013.

Yo, just imagine if LeBron fans were like "But Tristan Thompson was injured." Kevin Love might as well have been injured with the way he was neutralized through out the series. Curry played with a perennial all star and a stacked bench the entire series. Face it, you actually expect more from lebron than you do curry. You might not have even realized it.

Take Kareem and Magic out and the list looks reasonable.
