LeBron had the second highest playoff DPM (5.8) in a championship winning playoff run of all time only behind Ben Wallace in '04 (6.0)

He is the greatest perimeter defender ever:applause:

LeBron's offensive numbers were inflated due to Golden State missing their 3 best defenders

Draymond Green due to suspension under dubious circumstances

Andrew Bogut due to knee injury

Andre Iguodala due to back injury

LeBron also sacrificed winning for statistics in 2015 and 2014

LeBron shot a TS% of 47% and shot his team out of the series in 2015

2016 he stat padded and exploited a defensively depleted Golden State team (And was aided by the commissioner of the NBA)

Nothing Lebron could've done in 2007 Finals

Many guys played better against the same Spurs team:

Lebron vs. Spurs in 2007 Finals: 22 ppg on 35%

Melo vs. Spurs in 2007 1st Rd: 27 ppg on 48%

Dirk vs. Spurs in 2007.. WCF: 27 ppg on 53%

Bonzi vs. Spurs in 2006 1st Rd: 23/12 on 61%

Kobe vs. Spurs in 2008.. WCF: 29 ppg on 53%

The reason for Lebron's worse efficiency was JUMPSHOOTING EFFICIENCY:

....................... midrange jumpshot FG%..... 3-point jumpshot FG%..... Jumpshot proportion of offense

Lebron 2007 Finals (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/2544/stats/shooting/?Season=2006-07&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4) .............14.8........................... 20.0............................... 52.2
Bonzi 2006 1st Rd (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/1719/stats/shooting/?Season=2005-06&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=1) ..............50.0........................... 62.5............................... 32.2
Dirk 2006 WCF (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/1717/stats/shooting/?Season=2005-06&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=3) ..................41.3........................... 50.0 .............................. 61.2
Melo 2007 1st Rd (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/2546/stats/shooting/?Season=2006-07&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=1) ...............37.5........................... 50.0 .............................. 59.1
Kobe 2008 WCF (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/977/stats/shooting/?Season=2007-08&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=3) .................50.0........................... 33.3............................... 63.3

Everyone shot well on jumpers against the Spurs, EXCEPT Lebron - the so the Spurs jumpshooting defense clearly wasn't prohibitive - Lebron just can't shoot.

Even 9 years later in 2016, his efficiency is among the worst in NBA outside the paint... Lebron simply CAN'T SHOOT.. When a player can't shoot, there are tons of guys that can play better than him.

Cavs had no chance in 2007 Finals

Not true - despite Lebron's 22 ppg on 35%, all 4 games were single-digit affairs, including 1-possession nail-biters in Games 3 and 4.. (edit: Game 1 was 11 pt game)

The Cavs had a great defense, but just needed a consistent volume scorer to win.

I love these forums... 3Ball with his copy and pasting, and Warriorfan with his unbridled dedication to defending Steph Curry first, The Warriors second.

Lebron averaged a damn near triple double in 7 games along with 2 blocks and 2 steals on great percentages. No one can take that away from him.

He also led his team from 3-1 deficit. To beat a historically great team with a backdoor sweet almost... Unheard of.

You can't take away his accomplishments. You can try to diminish them but his stats support the teams success.

Curry was healthy too. Injured players don't do 360 dunks during warmups.

LeBron was ridiculous defensively in the finals. Perimeter defense, help defense, he was guarding the rim like a C out there. Most versatile defender of All-Time. Jordan was better on the perimeter, guys like Wallace/Duncan are obviously miles ahead protecting the basket but the fact that James can do both in a 7 game series is pretty crazy.

I don't think he had the GOAT finals on the surface. Jordan and Shaq probably above him. 73 win GS team, down 3-1, factoring in both sides of the ball? Probably in the conversation tho.

He was crazy defensively... 3 steals and blocks each?!

Even SexSymbol said it was the best defense he'd ever seen from a perimeter player, FAR overshadowing Kobe's

Shaq put up those Finals number against tomato cans in the Finals. Old Indy, Sixers, and Nets? C'mon. The two legit teams he played in the Finals his teams got swept, and lost in 5. And he was only the sidekick when they beat a decent Mavs team. It's not even a debate between Shaq and LeBron when it comes to who played way better Finals teams.

I love how this dude shows Jordan's full stat line but not LeBron's :lol this retard probably actually thinks Durant outplayed LeBron in 2012. Also, if you're gonna compare Jordan & Drexler, you should probably compare LeBron with the first unanimous MVP in this years Finals

Those aren't correct stats either. The only thing that bothers me with 3ball is him making up stats.

Magic averaged a full apg higher than Jordan. He was at 12.5 and Jordan was at 11.5. It isn't much but there's no need to intentionally round up numbers wrongly.
