Well, I did say GS wins in 4.
But after yesterday's game, I actually think Cleveland might steal one or two games. Curry & Klay look terrible and Cleveland still got blown out.

If they continue to play this poorly, then LeBron might save himself the humiliation of being swept by the UMVP.

Basically a Brady/Manning comparison.

If you value regular season accolades and fantasy points over Playoff games, you go with Manning. If you care about winning in the post-season you go with Brady.

Yes? What about that?

1. You laugh because you just like seeing him lose despite knowing his team were gona lose, its cool in these desperate days when Kobe retired, something to look forward to...

2. You laugh because you expected him to win with this cast against this historic team, like... you think Kobe would win in his seat?

3. Combination of both.

Have your fun, but just know its in vein, his accolades which ranks him where he is at all-time (above Kobe) wont go away because he didnt lose earlier than Finals or even missed the playoffs.

u forgot, lebron choose where he wanna play, and with who he wanna play with. He did request FO to trade for player that he wanted.

If LeBron falls to 2/7 I honestly don't think he's a lock to be above Kobe, Duncan, or Shaq in the top 10. They all have far more championships than him.

If he only finishes with 2 titles as the no.1 option ... I mean that isn't good enough for automatic entry into the top 5.

Steph Curry will probably need a look in the top 10 now too.

Curry is nowhere near top 10 all-time

His team is up 2 - 0 and he's barely been a factor in the outcome

Draymond.

You basically just conceded that yourself indirectly by admitting that Curry needs AT LEAST 35+ in the closeout game in order to take it away from Draymond, since he's been absolutely pathetic the first 3 games (3 straight games of scoring under 20 while shooting 42%) and has a lot of ground to make up. :lol

I am one of the biggest Lebron haters out there. I have hated on him and criticized him his entire career. I didn't like shit he said off the court or how he would vanish in big games sometimes.

This finals, I really wanted him to be 2/7 in the finals. I wanted the Cavs to lose badly. When the Cavs won game 7 I thought they played well, but was pissed anyways.

But when I saw him crying on the floor, it seemed like the first time in his life the dude was being genuine in public. Even though he is a dick and has made mistakes, you could tell he actually meant it all those years ago when he said he had one goal, to bring a title to the Land, and how much it meant to him. You could tell that all the haters got to Lebron and winning this title was a giant anchor of his back.

Also, Lebron did not play like a bitch and vanish. He stepped up big those last three games.

Props to Lebron. Congratulations. They deserved that title. Game 7 they played amazing.

Lebron is a face now in my mind. I never thought I would say that.

ArbitraryWater

- Educated in the arts of slaying opponents emotionally and physically behind their monitor by intillectually humiliating his opponents favorite player
- Very analytically NBA savy, can calculate his exact position in the world just by using Hollinger PER formula
- Displays all around knowledge of indepth NBA history that runs DEEP into the 1960-1970's
- 239-0 in H2H's vs Kobe + Jordan fanbase

I'm Still Ballin

- Also very analytically savy, has created a half dozen of his own NBA statistical formulas
- Vast knowledge of ISH history that runs nearly a decade plus deep
- Destroy's Kobe fan boys using complex vocabulary that his opponents think their getting complimented when their actually getting humiliated
- Creates the most controversial threads with the highest page counts, which cements his presence in ISH HOF
- 255-0 vs Kobe fanbase

I am humbled by the gestures fellas, but I feel I am not fit for the top job of the family.. Mainly because like every year I'll be running the Kings operation for the first quarter of the season until a playoffs birth is denied once more, which usually happens around December every year..

I have no doubt in my message board abilities, I just don't think I am the best option to lead the Family. I've always worked best as a specialist of sorts.

I personally believe that it takes a certain bravado to lead the family... The stern chin that deflects the kobe bitches like bullets ricocheting off a chestplate of Golden resolve. The ability to command the troops and lead them in any direction without a seconds hesitation from any of them

My talents suite more of a Shotgun type approach... It's to no surprise the methods I use to get my content across.. For example; I've posted the "Why has Kobe only won 1 MVP" thread atleast 7 times already... And I plan on posting it more times in the future... I frequently delete comments and repost them... A method stolen from 3ball... My content is elite, and my methods are meticulous, but my consistency is not there, and thus is the leadership too..

So I appreciate the gesture fellas, but I'll have to pass. I will gladly help in the voting process, along with finding the right fit for my talents in the family!

I have done my part slaying the kobe rats over the years and will continue to do so in the future. An extensive career spanning 6 years debunking the myths that surround the brick mamba and bringing reason and logic to the realm. The rats that I have personally executed include the likes of magic32, mr jabbar, and 9erempire among many others.

I have also been known to exterminate pests of other kinds, such as warriorfan and 3ball. These cockroach-like creatures have a tendency to pop out of the woodwork bringing the same filth time and again. Disgusting. They provide little sport as they are so feeble and helpless that the satisfaction of exterminating them is nearly non-existant. Regardless, I do suggest executing them on sight.

I will gladly help in the voting process, along with finding the right fit for my talents in the family!

.
Defensive rebounds are Lebron's only area of advantage, since his 1 assist edge is offset by more turnovers:

Playoffs (Per Game):

JORDAN:. 33.4 ppg.. 1.7 oreb.. 4.7 dreb.. 5.7 apg.. 3.1 tov.. 56.8 ts
LEBRON:. 27.9 ppg.. 1.6 oreb.. 7.2 dreb.. 6.8 apg.. 3.5 tov.. 56.7 ts

Playoffs (Per 100 Possessions):

JORDAN:. 43.3 pts.. 2.2 oreb.. 6.1 dreb.. 7.4 ast.. 4.0 tov.. 56.8 ts
LEBRON:. 36.4 pts.. 2.1 oreb.. 9.4 dreb.. 8.8 ast.. 4.6 tov.. 56.7 ts

Finals (Per Game):

JORDAN:. 33.6 ppg.. 6.0 rpg.. 6.0 apg.. 2.8 tov.. 48.1 fg
LEBRON:. 27.0 ppg.. 9.9 reb.. 7.2 apg.. 4.1 tov.. 45.1 fg

A team can win with less rebounds or assists, but never if they score less.. So scoring is a more important category than rebounds and assists.

And since #1 options control the scoring and flow more than anyone else (it's their job description), Jordan's massive scoring and efficiency advantage is far more important than Lebron's replaceable defensive rebounds against small ball lineups, or 1 assist edge achieved via Westbrook-like time (http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/possessions/?Season=2015-16&SeasonType=Playoffs&sort=TIME_OF_POSS&dir=1&PORound=4) of possession and turnovers.

Also, MJ faced far greater defensive attention because he averaged 15 more ppg than his 2nd option, compared to only 1 ppg for Lebron.. Despite the greater defensive attention, MJ still made all the game-winning plays for Pippen, whereas Kyrie made several for Lebron..

Finally, Lebron needed 7 games because he averaged 24 ppg and 6 turnovers through 4 games, before averaging 36 ppg for the final 3 games - but if he'd averaged 36 ppg for the entire series like MJ did in 91-93 Finals (36/7/8), then he wouldn't need a 7th game and therefore would've been more dominant like MJ.

LeBron Family has come up with this definition of elite:

To be able to lead a team to a title under the traditional set of adversity, under a common standard of supporting cast / opposition, not including outliers, such as Billups/Wallace or '90 Thomas technically being the leaders of title teams

LeBron stans bringing up the ESPN rank forget that they ranked him at 3rd before he had his GOAT level final, which was frankly absurd. During the season, I don't think even the most ardent Bron stan voted thought he was 3rd. Jumping on the bandwagon now doesn't validate that rank. A reasonable ranking would be 5-7, but he'll probably end up top 3 when all is said and done.

Top 3 seems tough for him . I have Duncan/Shaq/Hakeem trio at 5-7 , Lebron will likely surpass them . Wilt is the real debate . For #4 .

For now , Magic,Bird,Kobe,Lebron ; all are candidates for being second best perimeter player . But Lebron will play the ball 3 more years at least . And will be second best perimeter baller , no doubt .

I have him 4th and he can get to 3rd in like a year. Even before his Finals, plenty of guys on other forums like realGM had his peak and prime as good as anyone not named MJ. Even if you have him outside the top 5, the guys after MJ and Kareem(at least imo) are pretty close together that 3rd isn't unreasonable.

Tv ? You mean live ? :whatever:

I was watching the finals after one day the game . What's the matter ? I really don't understand that , watching live or tape . I watched 06 and 11 finals live and i watched some of 60's/70's finals from tapes , it doesn't change as information . If we don't need to seeing cool , it really doesn't matter .

However , 2013 isn't in his top 3 year , let alone history and other legends .

i get that, just said that to support there being legit posters there. Anyway, if you don't think 2013 is in Lebron's top 3, then I'm seriously doubting your eye test. That's a ridiculous opinion.

Yes , but not as much as playoffs ; not even close . 2016 his best , no doubt . 2012 is close one but still better with much better playoffs performances .

I'm pretty sure alot of people rank them Top 5- Top 3.
I'm not much of an expert myself,

But it doesn't seem far fetched to me, I wouldn't have him anywhere lower then 6th, but 3rd- 4th seems quite right.

LBJ ended at least 30 posters' (I count alts as special snowflakes) careers on this site. Although the bumped threads are priceless, an owner has to be concerned that a glut of cowardly losing haters go ghost.
