Look at these freeloading nations.

If you can't pay your share, GTFO.

Americans of ISH-are you happy that our tax payer money is covering the cost of freeloading skivers, nations like France, Denmark, Holland, Canada and Germany for example that have the money to pay and still refuse to do it anyways?:confusedshrug:

Makes you wonder how many of these nations do not support the interventions of NATO, but get bullied into participating anyways.

They probably don't feel like paying for American wars

But they will be the first to beg and cry for American intervention if they're ever in trouble.

Why are they even in NATO if they aren't willing to follow the agreement they signed on to?

we are planning to reach 1.4% by 2020

Look at that infographic.

No wonder other countries are just chilling with no facks given whatsoever. Also lets not forget how much we are spending because we have a higher GDP compared to everyone else. So in terms of real dollars that is a whole lot of dollars.

In all seriousness we need to get the hell out of there. If they need our help then ask for it when the time comes.

I have been waiting for a 'thank you' for years now.:facepalm

NATO members should pay the agreed amount but America should stop involving it in their foreign policy. It's purpose is defence, not expansion.

P.S I suggest you read The Deluge by Adam Tooze.

It is much simpler to ally with Russia than it is to keep up our "alliance" with these freeloading nations.

Greece, Estonia, UK and Poland are free to come with us if they want.

The cold war is over.

If NATO didn't exist, the EU would have collapsed several years ago. Pull the plug and watch these scrub EU nations collapse like dominoes 1 by 1 as they are forced to readjust their defense budgets. Let them reap what they sow.

I should really start rooting for Hillary so you guys can pay even for the education of my kids:lol

And the best thing is that when a time for Article 5 actually comes, it'll be American boys doing all the dying while I'll be enjoying the sweet warmth of my home because we discontinued conscription after joining NATO:lol

When Greece and Estonia can match that 2% threshold there is no reason why other countries can't. I'm specifically referring to you Canada and Spain. If Portugal can pull their weight there is no reason why Espana can't.
