I know most of you guys didn't know this because the news stations don't want to report this but last night during Trump's new Republican National Convention...Republicans gave a gay man a standing ovation.
This is the first time in history that the Republicans ever did so.
A historic night but too bad the media did not like it.
Peter Thiel, founder of PayPal, gave one of the best speeches this week and the media ignored it. Please look up his great speech.
I love my gays. We love our gays. We are Americans.
Bout time they came around...
Now if we can get the GOP to come out for the legalization marijuana, we're golden.

Talk about being misleading. The marriage thing never was about "equality" (an obvious lie and distortion of fact)--and what other Presidential platform (apart from the 2016 Democrats) has endorsed this transgender drivel, which only became an issue over the past 5 years or so (because it is not a real issue, but an imaginary one--there are so few causes left for you people that you're now stuck with making stuff up, and applying the mantra of "civil rights" to ever more absurd "minority groups").
Plenty of homosexuals disagree with this bullshit, especially the transgender garbage of giving credence to the fantasies of mentally disturbed individuals who think they can use knives to make them into what they want rather than being stuck with what they are. But yeah, you're the sick piece of shit who claps and applauds a couple of lesbians giving their 10 year old child hormone treatment because he's "confused"--well, how many lives do you have to prematurely ruin for the sake of this idiotic ideological crusade of yours? People like you, with your nihilistic desire to tear down and destroy established standards, are ruining many young lives; I hope you're proud of yourself, and I hope it was worth it just so you could count yourself on the side of "social justice" (whatever that means).
Oh, and it is just a plain fact that homosexuality is to some degree culturally conditioned, and many homosexuals actually recognise that it is grossly unfair to people to pretend that being homosexual is no different to being straight, or that they are "equal" (i.e the same). Not being able to have biological children with your life-partner is no small thing, and is why any sensible person would rather their child be straight than homosexual--and I assure you, this is something that actual homosexuals have thought about a fair bit. Most of this fanatical LBGT stuff is not even coming from gays, but from career social justice warriors.
You aren't talking about some insignificant number when you talk about gays who don't support this rubbish: you're actually talking about millions of people, who think differently, despite intense social pressure to do otherwise (including your attempts to dismiss them as "one empty token"). 55% of LBGT people identify as moderate or conservative (i.e. not Liberal), and thus most are not actually in favour of the Liberal push towards transgender lunacy.
Please show me where it says most LGBT are conservative.
Last two gallup polls 2012/14 show something like 65% are liberal and another 15% are independent. I know you like to make shit up, that one's too obvious.

Please show me where I said that, because I didn't (you're just making stuff up as usual). 2012 Gallup poll shows 20% conservative, 35% moderate.

That includes transgenders too, so one would think the results slightly skewed to the left when talking only about homosexuals. But as I said, large amounts don't support this latest "civil rights" insanity, which was all that was needed to support my point about calling it a "token" homo plainly being a falsehood. The word I used was "plenty" not "most". And in fact, it shows what a bigot Dondadda is, as he doesn't seem to consider the gays who don't agree with him to be real people with real opinions.
And considering transgenderism is a fringe left/liberal position, I made the assumption that the majority of those who identify as moderate or conservative would not support it; though this is an assumption, I think it is a pretty fair one.

Well....that shit was the Grand Old Party.
This is the New Republican Party (post-2015) and people are going to be angered that Republicans want to embrace the LGBTQ community.
It use to be a 'voter bloc' for the Democrats, as they like to identify certain groups, but we have embraced them as Americans.
The reason why we don't talk about gays, Latinos, Blacks, Asians or any other person that walks because we see them all as Americans.
What is wrong believing a marriage is between man and woman? Muslims believe in crazier things than that but we are force to give them a pass when our country's main religion, Christianity, is held to a different standard.

Gays tend to be better educated, more intelligent and less dependant on the government.
More homos, less Muslims. And only import hot Latinas, there's enough swinging ***** crossing the border already. More young hot Asian women too.
More supply of good looking women combined with less competition. That's a winning immigration policy if I ever saw one.

That's the point. I don't think Trump means that he's going to force businesses to install transgender bathrooms or else, but he means to protect everyone's freedoms. He's anti-radical islam which wants to kill these people..he will protect them and all peoples. They can live in peace in the U.S.

You're a buffoon. Republicans fight for gay rights at a state by state level.
Liberals fight for whatever the flavor of the month is to seem credible and up to date. That's not genuine and people fall for it all the time.
The problem Republicans have is that Marriage shouldn't be dictated by a few old farts in the Supreme Court. How can just a few old farts make decisions for the nearly 350 million of us??

I personally don't care at all about gay people getting married. I support it but I don't care at all if it's called "Civil union" instead of "marriage".
Despite the fact that I ultimately support gay marriage, I acknowledge that there are a large group of Americans who disagree with the usage of this term. It is wrong to just ignore these people's voice and tell them it doesn't matter.
As much as I believe that all gay people should have the right to get married, it is a state issue, not a federal issue.
Based Thiel is right. We need to stop fighting these fake culture wars. They're a complete waste of time.
Obama's idiotic technique of forcing through social change and then patronizing and talking down to everyone who disagrees with him like they're retarded children only served to further divide the country and piss more people off.
We as a country need to unite and stop letting these stupid fake issues that don't matter divide us.
