im not an anti gun nerd. but if that is your argument, that guns dont kill people, people kill people, then shouldnt we ban people from having guns?

Not logical.

Any philosophy professor would say so.

All things being fair... I think it is actually logical. haha. Something I didn't see coming, either.

I mean, feel free to explain why you think it's wrong. When applied to reality, it may be (cuz many variables), but in the context of "Don't ban guns because people kill people with guns" I think it logically follows to take it to the next point "Well, let's ban people from having guns."

It is of the same logic. If you say X is the catalyst of completely will-less tool Y, it doesn't follow to say ban x (as I think people have suggested in jest), it makes more sense to suggest banning situations that allow X and Y to come together in that manner.

It's not a logical answer, but neither is "do guns kill people or people with guns?" It becomes about semantics and language, and I believe yaboy has a point.
