Batman recruiting makes sense. Isn't he usually considered the leader anyway? Who else would do it in this scenario now that he knows what's coming?

And I can tell you right now he is nothing, and I mean nothing compared to Christian Bale's Batman. I've met Christian Bale personally at a seminar one day and he put on an impromptu performance in front of us all and it damn near choked me up! So please! Stay out of this!

It's weird to me how they're handling this. So he's slated to have his movie in 2020, and there maybe 3 different GLs. So he possibly shows up in JL2. He's definitely the 7th member though.

I like BvS a lot as well and didn't understand the hate it got - with the exception of the godawful lex casting. **** were they thinking there.

Otherwise I felt it was awesome and the extended cut really cemented that impression. They definitely left some important shit out like the scenes in the beginning that help you understand the characters motivations.

The encounter scene with lex on the ship is important too because it sets up the justice league movie and that another scene they didn't include that in the theatrical release. I honestly think they would have done better with the critics if they just went with the extended cut initially.

Bale is a better actor but even he thought he didn't do Batman justice. Batfleck so far only has had shared roles in the DCEU movies so the jury is out IMO, but he's just closer to the Bruce Wayne we all grew up with and his Batman is very good as well.

I haven't read too much of her stuff either and I mostly know her from Justice League animated stuff. I know she's fought Hades and Ares. I think Ares is one of the more common villains she has.

Well Batman is really the only one that recruits anyone, i.e. all his sidekicks like robin, nightwing etc... batman is someone that will do anything (maybe except kill or use a gun cause that's the standard stuff) to overcome problems and stuff so it wouldn't be too out of this world that batman is out there recruiting members.

Just because it's an ensemble cast doesn't mean JL is a copy. We've seen very little of JL but it looks nothing like Avengers to me, a movie I've seen like 10 times. Same with SS and GotG. Based on the trailers we've seen of Squad, those two movies couldn't be further apart. I can forgive the Wonder Woman comparison due to certain similarities, because there's a World War setting (except it's WW1 vs WW2) and that she has a shield, and she has demi-god type origins. There's not much they could've done to differentiate that feel though as that is pretty much her origin story. Their only fault is not making WW before the MCU movies came out.
