You see a lot of interesting professions covered on reality TV shows these days, but are there any non-sport professions that you would pay to see in person?
I've always been fascinated with architecture. When working in Real Estate I worked with AutoCAD on a few projects. I have a friend who is an amazing architect, but if I didn't, I would pay money to watch a architect design an interesting project.

Interesting question.
Would like a TV show documenting people's everyday struggles to stay healthy. Going to the gym, eating right, etc. If done well, it could be motivational and not cheesy

self-sustainability and off-the-grid folks.
not the ones who try to live in conditions from prior ages, and not the ones in "survivor" or the bear grylls shows. i mean the folks who have plenty of time to plan living as reasonably modern a life as possible with as little need as possible for things like manufactured items and electricity.
so, people who build those tiny mobile homes, or homes out of up-cycled materials, or out of whatever rocks and lumber they can scrape together... and then gather / grow their own food, make their own tools and even provide themselves heating systems, electricity and more.
this guy (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAL3JXZSzSm8AlZyD3nQdBA/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=2) in particular is quite the young badass IMO.

I've always been interested in Automobile design as well.
I would pay a hefty sum to sit in the room while Formula 1 engineers do work.

Do you guys have the Velocity Channel?
It's a channel devoted to cars for car lovers, I watch it constantly.
Anyway they have a show called "How it's made" that shows the entire process of making exotic cars (Ferrari, Bugatti, Bentley, etc) from start to finish. It's facisinating and it really puts it into perspective why these cars cost a fortune and how much time and thought is put into them.
They show everything, from creating the pieces of the engine block all the way to the details of the interior. It's crazy how involved the whole process is.

Even more interesting on the Velocity Channel are the shows where they go through the restoration process of old classics. They have shows where they will take an old rusted classic that has been sitting in a barn or junk yard for 50 years and give it a complete restoration. It's fascinating.
Most the time the cars end up better than they were when brand new because of the advancement of all the parts and pieces that they replace. 2016 nuts and bolts >>>> 1950s nuts and bolts.

The problem with this is it's very simple and easy. The fact is people aren't willing to accept basic knowledge. They need profound stories or dramatic conclusions to be sold, but at the same time are very quick to criticize or be sceptical. This transformation industry is the most scutinizwd industry out there.

Anything future related. It could be brainstorming for future inventions or patents, or basically even something a famous app's board having meetings on their future reveal. I hate pokemon, but I would have paid to sit in them meetings they were having discussing leading up to the Pokemon Go app release.
