I don't think the Warriors lost on purpose. They couldn't have known that Durant would come. You don't give away the championship in the hopes that a great player will sign with you so you can win a championship....

I don't think Durant wanted to beat the Warriors in the WCF. I don't think he wanted to win a title with the Thunder. He had an itch to try another team, felt trapped in a dysfunctional relationship with Westbrook, wanted to be part of something like the Warriors or the Heatles of 2012-13 that genuinely enjoyed each others' company. He had so thoroughly given up on OKC that he unconsciously threw that series IMO. He wanted to lose. He'd have to re-sign if he won.
