10. yaohappy - Flawless indicator of joyousness or even sarcasm, one of the board's most versatile emojis.

9. Tyrone Biggums - Slightly superior to its also impressive counterpart, the Gary Coleman unimpressed face, biggums serves as an excellent indicator of shock, disapproval, or just straight up disgust.

8. Applause - Sometimes "yeah" or "I agree man" just doesn't cut it, hence a top 8 finish for perhaps the board's 2nd most utilized individual smily. However, that is essentially the only thing it can be used for so I can't justify a higher position. :applause:

7. EEK! - From LeBron James' 45-15-5 explosion in Boston to his two incredible Game 7 Finals victories, the King has provided us ample opportunities to properly utilize EEK! It's just an all-around solid emote; certainly not a posting staple by any means, but a great swiss-army knife to have in your back pocket for when the time is right.

6. Kobe - By far the most human smily, the level of disapproval displayed by the Mamba is riveting and cuts DEEP to the bone. Perhaps the emoji that needs no further words in the post to get the point across, as it pretty much tells the story on its own. A phenomenal addition.

5. Facepalm - Self-explanatory. :facepalm

4. LOL - An oldie but a goodie. I don't know what is about LOL that makes me rank it this high. Far goofier than its older counterpart :oldlol: , with more personality and a wonky eye to boot. Undoubtedly the most common ISH smily, it helps glue just about any statement together. :lol

3. Confusedshrug - Ostensibly humble yet vaguely arrogant, I find myself reaching for Confusedshrug more than any other.

2. Bowdown - You knew it'd be up here near the top, because it's probably the easiest smily to agree on. We all know it's GOAT-tier and in its own way, it is a more impactful version of Applause.

1. Roll - The rolling laugh. I knew this would be #1 when I got the great idea to build this rank, and for good reason. It's always fun when you find a good spot to utilize Roll, and of course how many of us have found ourselves doubling, tripling, even quadrupling down on it for maximum effect?

There you have it.

Preach. I respect the simplicity and understated value found in oldlol, but LOL just has it beat IMO. :confusedshrug:
