He is LeBron James.

He's not like the others because there is no one else like him. There will never be another 6ft 8 monster with unreal speed and athleticism to go with elite scoring, rebounding, and passing ability. With the elite basketball IQ and leadership abilities. Who can also dominate a game defensively? Damn.

Enjoy him while you can, cause when he's gone, there will be nothing but regret from the haters.

Luckily, we'll have him for another 7-8 years.

He's not the scorer Jordan was, not the passer Magic was, not the shooter Bird was. But he's a combination of all of them combined, and none of them is the athletic freak that Lebron is either. Lebron is truely one of a lifetime kind of player.

I'm hoping Lebron Jr inherits his athleticism

He's a solid second option but his 39% finals performances along with 35 shot attempts per game hurt his team in the past.

What does Kobe have to do with this thread?

Lebron James is what Grant Hill should have been...

Huh? Outside of playing the SF position they're not really all that similar of players imo. Even young Grant with that deadly first step was a different kind of cat than Bron on the court.

How about his 3 FMVP's and leading both teams in every statistical category in the Finals against the 73 win defending champs?

It's the basketball IQ that really separates him. There's going to be others that have comparable physical tools, but it could be a long time before someone with those tools has Lebron's on-court intelligence.

He can't shoot and he isn't clutch....he's no part of bird at all.

LeBron did not beat a 73 win team

Golden State was missing their 4 best players due to injury and suspension (Curry - Knee, Draymond Green - Suspension, Andrew Bogut - Knee, Andre Iguodala - Back)

The Golden State team that LeBron beat in the finals does not accurately represent the Golden State team that won 73 games during the regular season

Let's see, they are both legendary SF who is elite as rebounder, passer, scorer and leader. Sure they are mostly very different.
