In 2016 playoffs:

Russell Westbrook
26.9 PER (superstar level)
0.208 winshare/48

Kevin Durant
20.3 PER (regressed ALOT from regular season)
0.130 winshare/48 (roleplayer level)

And Thunder was up 3-1 against the best regular season team in history....

Don't blame Thunder for having not good enough players...
Don't blame Russell Westbrook for his play and decision making....

If Kevin Durant, AKA superstar AKA top 3 in the league AKA leader of the team, had played just a little better than his shitty performance, the Thunder might now be the ones with the championship.

Leave b1tch, OKC don't need you. (Warriors don't need you either)

kd really squandered an opportunity this year. they really should have won that warriors series if not for kd choking.

Durant sucked in the playoffs. He's supposed to be some amazing shooter and he shot 28% from 3. His series against the Spurs was pretty good but he was terrible against the Mavs and Warriors. Westbrook on the other hand was great.

Pretty much outside of 2012 Durant has declined in the playoffs every year up to this point.

OP's numbers are correct, and I had no idea Durant's advanced numbers in the playoffs were so pedestrian.

I think it's pretty clear that he and Westbrook had issues on and probably off the court. I know this isn't exactly breaking news, but it will be interesting to see how they transition next season now that they're apart.

Well, GOATbrook singlehandedly won us the Mavs series.. Gm 2 & 5 vs Spurs and gm 1 & 4 vs Warriors.

The other guy had maybe one or two good games all playoffs.

not crazy to say westbrook > durant

kd is more portable though.

westbrook is better

durant should be better. has the best skill set in the league with his size and length but he is a bitch mentally.

Westbrook in games 5-7 vs GSW: 26/11/8 on 37/26/74 51ts%

Durant in games 5-7 vs GSW: 32/7/3.5 on 40/27/93 54ts%

Both played awful and choked in those games. to call one of them a 'choker' and let the other get away with criticism is stupid.

Overall Westbrook had better playoffs no doubt about that, but I don't really give a sh!t how good you play against the Mavs in the first round.
