I think it's a good get for them. Why not take the flier on a decent upside guy? If there's any organization who he'll rein himself in for, it's probably the Warriors. It's like when the Big 3 Heat took a shot in the dark with Oden and countless other moves like it... when you're just trying to round out your mostly set roster, shoot for the low-cost upside.

Which reminds me... I have no idea why Larry Sanders has not been given a one-year deal with incentives or something. If he has recaptured some of his love for basketball and his mind/heart are back in the right place to play again... he deserves another shot. He showed damn near DPOY-capacity play that one year.

Terribly inaccurate.
To even know how to instinctively catch a ball while not looking directly at it takes years of practice. You are not born with bball coordination, you can be better than others at it or learn faster, but you're not born with it.
Before you try to stupidly argue, I train bball players for a living, so I think I'd know these things.
