whats your stance on suicide? do you think it's someone giving up? Do you think its due to a chemical imbalance?
one last question, have you guys ever attempted to commit suicide and what led you to that point?
im curious

Complex issue but generally I think a person should be able to decide when they want to take their own life. As long as its not them trying to take others with them and many pieces of shit do nowadays.
But if a person is suffering from clinical depression, then there's a good chance that a chemical imbalance factors in. If a person with that issue sought treatment and improved, it's possible they may no longer feel compelled to commit suicide.

I think if you want to end your life it's your choice...just don't hurt others. Some of these people have mental issues/imbalances. Some people are just mental weaklings. Some people have a propensity for that be it cultural. It baffles me. I understand sacrifice like giving my life for another. But ending my life just because I'm sad or have regrets in life I don't understand. Life hands you bad moments but you don't give up.

-sometimes- people have a legit mental disorder and -sometimes- they don't...not every suicide attempt is the same
Are you contemplating suicide McFly?

Suicide is useless.
You have one life, what's the point of ending it?
You don't like a show anymore, you turn it off and choose another, but if you were in a closed room with that only show, you would never ever dare to delete due to the risk of there being nothing else to do it, so why do it with life if there's no alternative? Even if you believe in afterlife, it's a huge risk, and you know it.
If you don't like your life you can change it drastically, it takes no money to hike through a country and see beautiful things. Sure, you'll be starving most of the time and dirty, but you're gonna experience a lot of cool shit.
Don't end what you can't replace.

I say it's ****ed up to the family of the suicide victim. They will be the ones that will live with the sorrow and burden knowing someone close has took their life. Obviously there's other factors as the family can be the main culprit, etc.
I just think if you're at that point of your life you should just go to Mexico and **** a shit ton of hookers while snorting coke off their ******s. After a few weeks of doing that and other shit you'll probably realize blowing your brains is not worth it. :oldlol:

If I am going out slow , I will end it fast.
THAT is serious , but I have a plan if and when it comes.
I want no burdens to my wife....
Both of our parents are either using a walker or a chair , and it ain't pretty.

this is a good piece of advice .. problem is some people have lost that thing inside, whatever you call it, that makes you want to do things like that or even enjoy things .. that's the whole damn problem .. they no longer see any purpose hanging around and they don't enjoy anything .. pretty shitty mindset .. but good advice for those who do have it in them .. not judging anyone for committing suicide .. no one knows what's in someone's head

I've been through times where it felt like the walls were closing in around me, and while I never attempted anything, I'd be lying if I said I didn't seriously consider it. Thing I realized though, no matter how bad your problems are, there is probably something amazing in your life that's just around the corner that you will miss out on. You know how you can't sometimes stop watching a good show no matter how depressing it is, just to see what happens next? There are times you gotta see life like that as well.
I held out for these reasons and now even though it sometimes sucks mentally and life feels exhausting, I've gone from being an aimless loner to having a great wife that loves me and two beautiful children and a great job where I'm made to feel extremely valued. It's a stressful life but it's just so worth living.
Having said that, I have known people who genuinely found it painful to be alive. I can't comment on the mental issues, but they had rough upbringing and significant loss and they just couldn't find a way to move on. I can only judge my own situation and not theirs, but I so wish they'd just held on long enough to see how temporary all their problems were.
