Carrying on from Jeff's thread, I thought about the following. The Warriors sacrificed their bench and depth to land a top 3 player in the league and SIGNIFICANTLY improve their already-great 73 win team by replacing am ineffective Harrison Barnes with Kevin Durant.

Let's assume we get to next year's playoffs and Kevin Durant's feet start bothering him and cause him to miss the finals. Was it worth it?

How much better or worse are the Warriors then? How does it affect their matchup against the Cavs in next year's finals? Do they just play their starting lineup longer minutes to best the Cavs? Do the Cavs now have the advantage when it comes to the bench?

It's the same as the Cavs signing Kevin Love in the 2014 off season IMO, is it worth it?

It ultimately will be worth it, because there's no doubt in my mind that the Warriors will win a championship with Kevin Durant. But even if Durant gets injured, this is one of those trades you do 10 times out of 10.

The Warriors better hope Durant will be healthy though, because they're in for a world of hurt if they're depending on McGee to protect the paint against LeBron.
