Meh they still have melo. I see them having a good stretch and fading out again. Celtics will break into the 50 win range and 2nd round. East will be a bloodbath. West will be shitty

Miami went from being a game 7 away from the ECF to possibly being one of the worst 5 teams in the league next year..

Miami were not a good team last season. They relied on Batum injury and Wade catching fire to advance to second round.
They will actually be a better team this season.

Lakers will be the most improved team next season.
I see 30-35 wins with our roster and if DLO plays like a legit star, I won't be surprised if we see 40 wins or close to.

Fixed .
Also , I don't think they will be a better team . But they will be fine with Dragic on offence .

I don't think they'll be a top 5 worst team next year, but I also don't think they'll be "better." They won the Southeast and were 14 games over .500.
Their roster is still OK, but beyond losing Wade, Deng was a really important piece for them on both ends. In fact, when you factor in Joe Johnson, they've lost almost all of their wings which was their greatest strength last year.
Unless you're assuming Chris Bosh is coming back and he's going to be the player he was, I don't see it. I'm interested in your take, though.

I'm just glad the knicks are better but we have to see what Silver do this season.

I haven't kept up with their off season at all but did they get anyone worth mentioning this summer aside from resigning Whiteside?
Losing Wade, Deng, and JJ will hurt.
You really think Dragic, Whiteside and some 2nd-3rd year players will be better than last year?
I should also mention I'm assuming Bosh won't play, which is the main reason they'll be so bad.

I think you can be better, and not win as many games.
I watched most of the games, and for example, the players were very disjointed most of last season, and IMO it was due to Wade.
It's easy to look at his numbers and his post season, and quickly forget how horrible he was most of the season. He was a huge ball stopper, a defensive liability, and generally thought he was still a megastar. His advanced metrics were WOEFUL.
This season, there will be a faster pace, and more ball movement. Dragic will be able to play naturally, and there will be more minutes and opportunity for the likes of Winslow, Tyler Johnson, Josh Richardson, and even Whiteside.
James Johnson will be solid role player, and I hope Waiters and Derrick Williams hardly play, but if they do, learn to play properly within the team concept.
A healthy Bosh will be cherry on sundae, if he can play at a faster pace and not hold the ball for 8 seconds jab stepping and shooting 18 footers. Between him and Wade the ball was completely dead.
I think they will win 45 games. 3 less than last season, but they will be better on both ends, players will continue to develop, and they won't need to rely on 1 guy to win a playoff series.

Excellent take, honestly I wasn't really interested in Miami but now I want to see what they can do with Dragic running the show.
I think if Waiters can stay locked in for a whole season he would be an excellent bargain for Miami, though then again he's been known as quite a ball-stopper himself
Other than MIA, Wolves should make quite a leap forward and will be fun to see. Same for New York if they remain healthy and can get a cohesive offense with the players they have
