1. Blood Diamond-this movie is some patronizing after school special shit. I remember when it came out it got nominated for a bunch of awards. Leonardo Di Caprio even got nominated for best actor despite having the shittiest South African accent ever captured on screen.

2. Crash-The worst best picture winner of all time.


What other films have dated horribly?

films that traded on the cultural hipness quotient of the time, but aren't quite old enough to be nostalgic or historically interesting yet.

example: most of those teen comedies from the 80's and 90's.

Lot of the Nickelodeon Teen movies aged poorly. The only one I thought wasn't bad was Eddie Million Dollar Cook Off. For some reason, I liked it a lot as a kid.

Two Heads are Better Than None, the Kenan and Kel movie, is still great.

tbh, most of marvel movies.
I loved them all, but all of them are so forgettable.
And it's laughable how little is civil war talked about these days considering how raved about it was.

I saw Blood Diamond right after it came out on DVD; it wasn't anything special then. And I tried to watch Crash when it first appeared on HBO, but that movie was hella boring.:sleeping
