Will we ever see another man score 60 points in their final NBA game?

This was a once in a lifetime event.

We are all witness.

Lots of people get dropped 50 points in their last game.

I believe Judas will get dropped pretty hard since no one in the league respects him.

Will we ever see an opposing team refuse to play defense and not give a crap?

We might not see, because it's very uncommon for player to be such a stat padder as Kobe. He took 50 shots, cause he perfectly knows so many idiots exist who look at scoring only and will consider this game great or legendary. :lol :oldlol:

Will we ever see a team feel pity for a player and let him score free points? Sad thing is? Still took 50 shots. :oldlol:

certainly one of the best basketball spectacles ever witnessed by a huge amount of people.
This was a fairy tale ending to a glorious career.
It was so cool that Kobe made the sad ending fun.

50 shots to score 60 points against a team that didn't care. Legendary indeed.

leading his team to worst record in franchize history, 3 consecutive years in a row, 3 consecutive years recruiting zero FA's (hibbert lol), while leeching their half their cap space for 3 consecutive years, getting 3 ROTY coaches fired in those 3 years and leaving their future ahead looking like Chernobyl. Fairytail indeed

You got to also put the game into perspective.

- Kobe was playing at home.
- Kobe made it clear to everyone that it was his last game.
- Both The Lakers and The Jazz have already missed out on the playoffs
- A win or loss for either team would not have changed their position in the lottery.
- Kobe had the green light to shoot much as he wanted as this was encouraged by the crowd and by both teams (50 shots).

I am not taking anything away from his last game or discrediting him. But because of these unique circumstances + the greatness of Kobe, Kobe was able to score 60 points.

a lot can be said about Kobe but the man is a spectacle. even for but a brief moment, he brought back excitement in nba basketball. the league has turned dull. full of competition friendly characters that don't have the chops to go all in.

That's the biggest fail in sport history. The last and clearest Kobe Bryant achievement!

That's right, even his last game proved he was biggest stat-padder in sport history. 50 years from now people will remember Kobe even in his final game took 50 shots, that's why nba.com Kobes profile will start with: Kobe Bryant - known for being biggest stat padder in sports history.
What a pathology. :banghead:
