he has to do every single thing on both ends of the floor for his team to win. his teams always have flaws but lebron covers most of them by himself. still shocked he won. greatest player of all time.

I don't believe it OP. How can one man be so dominant?

I see all these threads trying to expose LeBron and I think you've done it. Exposed him as the GOAT!

Thank You OP!!:applause: :applause:

Think about it, Magic, Kobe, Jordan were surrounded with superstars to cover their flaws.

Meanwhile LeBron had no all-stars and still beat a 73 win dynasty

He outrebounded Tristan Thompson and Mosgov last playoffs

This year he outrebounded Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love, and Mosgov

He averages close to 10 rebounds a game for his playoff career, and he's a SF whos mostly at the 3 point line

Very impressive indeed

Though I don't believe it's because he has to. Kevin Love is good on the boards, though since he's usually hanging around the perimeter in Cleveland he's out of position. Same for when he's guarding the small ball lineups in GS

So it's kind of by design, in that respect

It's a teastament to his durability, consistency, and talent/skill. No one has played the number of minutes in the sheer number of playoff games over the last six years as LeBron James.

I am happy to report that, at least he's finally getting some serious help in the points department. In their last season together, Dwyane Wade averaged 17.8 points on 51% eFG.

This past season, the first healthy playoffs for Kyrie Irving (23 years old), he averaged 25.2 points on 54% eFG. That includes shooting 44% from three, which is exactly the kind of player LeBron needs next to him to give him the space to work.

LeBron averaged 26.3 points on 56% eFG.

So, thre was a 1.1 ppg diffference in scoring between James and Irving and a 2% eFG difference in efficiency... But, LeBron also averaged 3+ minutes more than Irving per game.

That's just great news for the future of the scoring burden LeBron will have to carry going forward. It could happen as early as next season where Kyrie takes over as the primary scorer and LeBron really hones in on other areas, making him even more dangerous as a playmaker, defender, rebounder, etc.

FWIW, TT averaged 9.0 rebounds per game in under 30 minutes a game and Love also averaged 8.8 rebounds per game in just over 30 minutes per game in these playoffs. Those guys are 25 and 27 respectively and still young. LeBron averaged 9.5 rpg behind James in just under 40 minutes a game.

All of that is just a long way of saying that, yes, LeBron's ability to impact every facet of the game and somehow remain so durable is unbelieveable, but he has a lot of young help around him for the first time in a while who can help ease the burden as he ages.

The one thing that no one can replicate on that team is LeBron's playmaking ability and vision... and that's not going anywhere any time soon.
