An alarming comment, in the least
Speaking of sacrifice, as a Lebron stan, I love the dude in your avi, top-botch team player and winner who sacrifices.

I've always said this guy is a little overrated and benefits more individually from the GS system than any other player on that team. But I think (or at least I hope) what he's referring to is that his role on the team leads to him getting a lot of his points off the ball. Realistically we all know that to be a part of the Curry Effect, but Klay is incredible in his role.
I don't think his ego will get in the way of team chemistry, but he is one arrogant SOB. I think the biggest threat that Klay poses to LeBron haters is actually his embarrassingly self-destructive choice of words at press conferences.

Fan of Klay, but he's not on the team anymore once his current deal is up, maybe sooner.
Dubs will find that they don't need him, despite his quality. They'll trade him for what they do need.

Honestly after saving the Warriors vs the Thunder in Game 6, Klay deceided that anything he threw up was going in. It's why the Warriors got off to so many bad starts vs the Cavs. Dude was just chucking them up.
He did dominate the first half of Game 5, but Lebron matched him in points so it was forgotten and then Kyrie closed the deal.

They didn't even trade Klay for Love before Klay developed his game further and Love was arguably a Top 3 PF in the league. There's no way they believe he's not integral to the team's success

If the NBA doesn't fix the finals, I can see the Cavs still winning because of this little shithead ruining chemistry.
In other words, you're already working on ways to disregard LeBron if he and the Cavs beat the Warriors in the Finals again next year. We're 10 months away from the 2017 Finals, and you're already trying to lay the groundwork for reasons why LeBron winning another ring wouldn't count.

They didn't have Durant back then. He makes Thompson expendable.
Not saying it will happen this season, but at some point the Dubs will not be able to keep all 4 together, and Klay is the odd man out, especially considering that his trade value is high enough to bring in something they actually do need (interior defense, low post presence, depth).

This all depends what happens next summer IMO. Durant and Steph are gonna get paid. Question is are they going to sacrifice say 10%-15% from the max to ensure the team sticks together? I can see Steph doing it since the guy is unselfish. Durant on the other hand lol.. dude said money isn't that important and then gets a max when the Warriors would have benefited greatly for him taking a few mill less. Could have gotten one more bench player that would have turned them into a quality, complete 9-man team.
Durant's always been a beta though, so I'm not surprised.

Yep.
If you think this summer is bad, a 4th ring will devastate him exponentially more.
Gotta start the damage control early.

I think everyone is reading into this quote more than they should. I think he is saying its not a sacrifice to play on a GREAT team with GREAT players. Missing out on some shots is too bad for one of the best shot makers in the league but we are talking about a team that could easily win 210 games over three seasons with 2 titles. And he is saying that is not a sacrifice. And he is right.
If someone wants to show me a team that was within SIX wins of that, I'd be happy to see it.
Klay 3D

Klay plays off ball. His sacrifices are very very minimal. Draymond will be sacrificing the most because he'll be splitting ball-handling duties after a rebound with Durant.

So much dumb in this. After this season GSW can use his Early Bird rights to give him a 20% raise to
Y1 33.280
Y2 35.776
Y3 38.460
Y4 41.344
Y5 44.445
5/193.3
The most another team could pay him after this season would be:
Y1 36.4
Y2 38.2
Y3 39.9
Y4 41.7
4/156.2
And if he REALLY wants to press the issue he can get the max but GSW would have to trade Iggy which wouldn't go over real well.
Steph has full Bird rights and his cap hold is like 14M. His contract is a SIMPLE one to deal with. And he will get the absolute max. Taking less wouldn't even impact the roster.
Most people don't understand that Golden State COULD HAVE maintained Ezeli's rights and matched his 2/15M deal. But they didn't... so its likely all these permutations have all been worked out.

They're not going to afford getting all 4 on max contracts. Things fell into play with Klay and Dray right before the huge jump in wages. In 2019, 2020 Klay might get forced out if Durant and Steph are on max contracts.

GTFO. You have NO IDEA what you are talking about.
Klay and Dray are locked in long term to incredibly good deals. KD and Durant are getting PAID this offseason. But they will be ~around the lux tax line or below depending on where things end up. When Klay becomes a FA in 2019 (yes, he is under contract 3 more years) GSW will have his bird rights and can pay him whatever they want.
GSW have ~70M more in gate revenues than a lot of teams. And their local TV Ratings are ~5X what the Lakers were last year. The Lakers get ~150M/ in local TV. They can pay the tax. Comfortably.
If you have no idea how the cap works stop spewing stupid on everyone.

he just smokes a lot of really good Cali weed all the time. Not a violent type at all.
He's more of a JR Smith. Sometimes he has an epic game and goes off for dagger after dagger 3 while playing good D.
Othertimes, he plays like an idiot who doesn't care.
