Not really...

1 - Lebron
2 - Leonard
3 - Durant
4 - George
5 - Carmelo

I dont think anyone would put him above 4 or below 5. Seems like he's rated just fine tbh.

Paul George is the second best SF in the league behind LeBron

You're tripping out bro!

You can't make a reasonable argument that he's better than Durant or Leonard right now.
So far Leonard has the ring, the FMVP, and 2 DPOY awards and he's way more efficient on offense than PG putting up similar numbers. Runner up for 2016 MVP.

It will be interesting to see who ends up with the better career though, but so far its Leonard.

That would be Paul George.

What happens if you swapped the careers of George and Leonard?

Anything to suit your agenda I guess.

He has no arguments versus Lebron, Durant or Kawhi.

Arguable vs Paul George, but seeing how George always takes his teams to the playoffs, multiple ECF appereances, and has similar offensive stats while being superior defensively, Ill take him over Melo.
Melo is the 5th best SF in the league.

agree it's between melo & george for 4/5. if you value defense more, it goes to george. if you value offense and pure scoring more, it goes to melo. in melo's defense, he's practically had to be that entire team's offense for years now. not many players that can score inside while driving or pass other than him in the starting lineup. i think his hand has been somewhat forced in the whole iso game...and he's still pretty good at it, mind you.

i would go paul george now simply because he's entering his prime and has youth on his side. before all-star break last season, he was playing like a legit MVP candidate. gimme george. also, given george's improved passing he really showcased in the playoffs, the choice is even easier. he was the best passer on the team many games. PG's game slowly is still evolving. i feel PG is more capable of carrying a team as the #1 option as well. so ya, PG > melo.

was melo one of the most underrated players of the past three seasons or so? i guess, but at this point, he's no better than 5th overall SF. he cannot carry a team like those other four do but he can be one of the best second options in the league

PG13 isn't better than Durant, it's arguable between him and Leonard. I would say PG13 has a chance to be a much better player than Leonard but as of now Leonard has the accolades and the perfect system for him.

1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Leonard
4. George
5. Hayward
6. Wiggins
7. Antetokoumnpo
8. Carmelo

He is considered a top 10 SF in the game. No one is underrating Carmelo.

FG% is a worthless stat for players who take 3s.

Last year George's TS was 55.7%. Melo's was 53%. George also scored at a higher rate, 23.9 pts per 36 minutes compared to 22.4 for Melo.

Given that Paul is also a far superior defender it is very easy to rate him higher than Melo.

Not sure whether it's underrated or underwhelming. Regardless, I think he's sitting on a huge season coming up. He's finally inspired with the Rose/Noah signings. If Rose is healthy and stays healthy (Melo, too), they'll make some noise.

Melo is underrated on a historical level. If he were on a team like GSW or the Spurs he'd have at least one chip and one FMVP. Melo is easily better than Paul Pierce and others like him. He's one of the greatest scorers I've ever seen, and as long as you play alright defense, that can't be glossed over. This "chucker" thing is so stupid, he led a team to the WCF and lost to kobe. no shame there.

Melo is one of the most talented players i've ever seen, but He is just a spineless, lazy, fat loser. He has never had an equivalent impact to his talent, so He is not underrated at all. He is just the player who could be and was not. The eternal promise. The hype train that continues to derail.

Oh so if you put Melo on all-time great/historic teams, you mean to tell me he would win a ring? What an accomplishment!

naw the reason why the Pacers's cooled off last year was because PG cooled off :wtf:

PG aint the 2nd best SF with that Allen Iverson looking ass FG%.

Kawhi went head to head with PG and embarrassed dude.
