Is because Lebron is so good. In reality they are the strongest conference.

Agreed,

If LeBron played in the West, haters would constantly be saying "LeBron played his entire career in a shit conference", while propping the Raptors, Pacers, and Haws as "juggernauts who LeBron avoids every playoffs" :lol

If lebron went to the west and won the finals, it wouldn't count because he played vs the weak east in the finals :yaohappy:

Interesting, because Lebrons stats are better against Western teams than eastern

Youre saying he plays better against tougher competition

Thanks for pointing that out. :applause:

Can someone post Kobe's stats vs the East in the playoffs, and then his stats vs the West.

Kobe hasn't played against the East in the playoffs since the Big 3 Celtics were at the top of their game.

What does that have to do with the embarrassment that has been the Eastern Conference since ~2012?

:facepalm
Brad Stevens would be ashamed of your silly take.
OKC placed 2nd in the West, are you really going to bet that they would have lost to the Toronto Raptors head to head?
Spurs would beat ANY TEAM in the East.
The HEALTHY Clippers and Memphis would beat the heck out of Boston, Miami, Hawks and all the teams in the East except for Cleveland.
The 8th placed Houston would easily beat the 8th best team in the East.

It's because there are no players in the east that can even come close to challenging James. That's what it comes down to.

The star players in the west are not better than him, but they can definitely come close to matching him and are a threat to possibly outplay him in a series.

We just saw a series of big-time free agents choose to stay in the Western Conference. If it was such an easy ride in the East, someone would have taken the plunge.

In reality, there are only a couple -- three at the most -- great teams in the league. The rest of the field serve as the extras in the movie.
