Jordan knows an alpha when he sees one. Jordan also knows a quitting coward when he sees one.

"Thirty years ago, that's me," Jordan said. "The attitude, trying to prove myself. Showing so much passion for the game of basketball. You see it in his play. You can tell he loves the game. He plays with energy and flair."

Jordan on LeQuit..."I'd easily beat him one on one."

Jordan on Kobe..."Kobe would beat me."

The GOAT on WB..."He's like me."

Jordan isn't a good executive or evaluator of talent. That much is certain.

Jordan only says that about lebron because he threatens his legacy :oldlol:
Otoh, westbrook isn't even close

Jordan is pretty narcissistic in general.

It's kinda like kobe fans stanning curry/durant when lebron was on the come up because he's passed their idol kobe, they need for someone to tear him down.

Not sure if OKC will win enough games for him to get it.

He's going to be Fantasy BBall MVP.

I'm genuinely excited to see how him and Oladipo play together.

That small forward void is gonna pose some problems.

Ordan quit on the bulls in the PRIME of his career. Stfu about quitting you coward.

And this is why no one respects Bransvestites; they have zero knowledge on the game and they have zero grasp of reality.

Complete fantasy world.

This guy is so deep in his fantasy that he pretends to be a fan of another team just to seem credible when discussing his shrimp dic k Daddy.

He's talking about the flair and passion, not the quality of his game.

Even though im fairly new to the site, im pretty sure that i was one of the very few people that defends westbrook on a daily basis.

I believe he, and Oklahoma City, will thrive in the midst of the chaos.

Funny that NO ONE is talking about the oladipo/westbrook backcourt.

They wont be a walk at the beach by any stretch of the imagination.

Amazing how you even use the GOAT to make it look like Warriors are better than the man that beat you ...
- I feel for you = pathetic.

Well, let's not forget Westbrook is the main player endorsing his shoe, MJ is a businessman as well.

And the rest of the quote?

"Because he steals all moves."

You don't even understand what he's saying, and twisting it to fit your agenda. Basically it's a compliment to himself. Playing Kobe would be like he'd going against himself. Thus the only one of those guys who could steal a victory in one on one vs him.

He's not saying I can't beat Kobe. Which is how you're projecting it.

..NBA.COM'S STATS ON
"MIDRANGE" EFFICIENCY
..(all shots inside 3-pt line but outside paint)

.......................Midrange Efficiency

Westbrook 2015 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/201566/stats/shooting/?Season=2014-15&SeasonType=Regular%20Season):. 36.9%.. 164/445

M Jordan. 1997 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/893/stats/shooting/?Season=1996-97&SeasonType=Regular%20Season):.. 48.9%.. 588/1202
M Jordan. 1998 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/893/stats/shooting/?Season=1997-98&SeasonType=Regular%20Season):.. 43.2%.. 476/1101

Jordan was a goat shooter from midrange with low turnovers whereas Westbrook's efficiency and turnovers are historically bad..

But despite Jordan's reliance on shooting unstoppable, contested fadeaways at with goat efficiency, his spring (https://media.giphy.com/media/HE2sZdIJSyPFm/giphy.gif) and athleticism (https://media.giphy.com/media/zqMGGfL6egfRe/giphy.gif) was still good enough at 35 years old to achieve 49 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/893/stats/shooting/?Season=1996-97&SeasonType=Regular%20Season) and 89 (http://stats.nba.com/player/#!/893/stats/shooting/?Season=1997-98&SeasonType=Regular%20Season) dunks in 1997 and 1998 - that's more than Westbrook's 49 in 2015 when he was scoring champ, and also his 69 in 2016.. Of course, in Jordan's prime he would achieve 158 (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2lb0whh&s=8#.U_0tH_ldX2U) dunks like he did in 1988, or 125 (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=qpikcz&s=8#.U_0tS_ldX2V) in 1991.. This was when dunks were achieved at at a lower frequency (http://insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12555171&postcount=86) than today's era.

and despite the bricks, Wesbrook keeps jacking them up?

Efficiency at high volume - players with 25+ FGA and 45% FG

Regular Season:

Michael Jordan: 1987, 1993
Rick Barry:...... 1967, 1975
Bob McAdoo:.... 1975
George Gervin:. 1982
Kobe Bryant:.... 2006
Elgin Baylor:.... 1963
Tiny Archibald:. 1973
Dominique:...... 1988

Playoffs (10 game min):

*Michael Jordan:..... 1988, 1990, 1992, 1993, 1997, 1998
Elgin Baylor:.......... 1960, 1961, 1968
Bob McAdoo:.......... 1974, 1975
George Gervin:....... 1975, 1982
Jerry West:............ 1966
Rick Barry:............ 1977
Hakeem Olajuwon:.. 1995
Kobe Bryant:.......... 2007
Dominique:............ 1988
Allen Iverson:......... 2005
Kareem Jabbar:...... 1975

* Averaged 25.1 FGA and 48.7 FG% for his playoff career

Great efficiency at high volume requires great jumpshooting, since high volume requires more jumpshooting.

Jordan was equipped for this, since he was a goat midrange shooter - much better than Curry (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12534093&postcount=8), and obviously the abysmal Westbrook.

I've never seen someone who dresses so incredibly gay but is such an absolute boss on the court like Westbrook. The dude is the embodiment of what every basketball player should be.
