Anyone own a van?

Thinking about getting one and pimping it out.

Refrigerator, lounge seats and table.

90's Conversion Van

Is this becoming a thing again?

My dumbass coworker bought one instead of buying a new car. My hopes is that it breaks down or catches fire on her stupid ass.

I don't know if its a thing or not but I met an old friend a couple of weeks ago and he has one of these vans with a big ass Wu Tang sticker on the side.

We were at a bar drinking and he was bragging about his van to other patrons. :wtf:

So I went outside for a cigarette and he joined me and offered me some green tobacco. We went to his van and the dude has a refrigerator, lounge chairs and a bean bag. Drank some of his beers...took a shot from the mini bar and went back inside like nothing happened.

With that said, I want to get one just so I don't have to drive home from the bars and I can sleep in there and go home the next morning. Also, it would be great for traveling too.

Felt like freedom.

So I did research on these vans and they were at their peak during the 70's and they were specifically geared towards the 20 year olds who wanted to bang chicks in them. The car was marketed towards families as a vehicle for drive-in movies.

I want to use it as a bar on wheels and pack it up with some friends.

I would probably take out the middle captain chairs. Bolt down a table. Take the old school TV out and put a flat screen. Mini bar and fridge.

Backseat reclines into a queens size bed.

A bar on wheels and a smoke out vehicle. Also a chick magnet. A girl may think twice about going home with you but she won't turn down a drink in the van.:lol

I'm very familiar with those.:lol

My buddy owns his own business and owns 3 of them. For a summer I had to drive that shit to Riverside and back up to Pasadena. Sadly, it's a cargo van...not what I was looking for.

I want something more like this....a lounge area.

I literally had a 65 year old co-worker who was a former hippie and still current pot head drive one of these. He'd go out into it every day for lunch and tonk up. At work we called it the rapist van.

It's nice and all but I'm looking to convert one on a budget. 90's conversion van can be had for $3k and up, depending on condition.

All I want is a table, fridge and mini bar.

It's going to be a lounge/office on wheels. Just a party van. Good for football games too.

Think this....

a buddy of mine has like a 98 conversion van. Nothing crazy, no shag carpeting or mini bar, but it was awesome. We took it on a roadtrip and it's like going from coach to riding first class. So much more comfortable than a car.

My uncle bought one brand new in the 90's and I remember going on trips with it. Now that I'm older i want to get one.

They are cheap now.

Seen a few people do it. Some for a year while saving, some longer. Good way to save up money for a house car or whatever. Can get a gym membership for showers.

Nice.

I'm not about to live in it but the plans are party, smoking, drinking and facking van.

I have always brought thr party wherever I go and I was hooked after seeing my buddies.

Hopefully by year's end I will find one.

I will be up and down California visiting friends. I have them all over.

It'll pretty much be a ****fest party for him too, he's a pot farmer so he'll be going from farm to farm banging trimmigrant sluts.

I've seen ones with a full bed on the floor and you can like fold down or slide the floor over it. Crazy what people can do.
