The ONLY players to win FMVP for less than half their rings, in NBA HISTORY

Tony Parker: 1/4

James Worthy: 1/3

John Havlicek: 1/8

Kobe: 2/5

Dwayne Wade: 1/3

What do they all have in common?

NONE of them are Top 15 players in NBA History

So by OP's logic it's better to be 1/10 in the finals with 1 FMVP (100%) than to to be 10/10 the finals with 4 FMVP's (40%).

Lol, so you're basically punishing players for winning extra rings? Wade would've been better off had they lost in '12 or '13? Ditto Kobe during the 3peat?

What's the honest difference between this and the idiots who criticize LeBron for his Finals record?

I'm not saying Wade would be better off if they lost in '12 '13, im just saying those rings shouldnt move him up.

Heck if Wade only won once in 2006, he still wouldn't be Top 20, why should he be moved to Top 20 for winning without FMVP? :confusedshrug:

Same with Kobe, what really seperates Kobe from Tony Parker or Havlicek? All of them won FMVP for less than half their rings

Why are they sucking in FIBA Competitions? If they are suffering from fatigue because they are playing non stop basketball since the 2014-15 NBA Season.

They should have been replaced by Gordon Hayward, and Dwight Howard or Anthony Davis.

Well they wanted to play and even Mj suffered from fatigue after going to 2 finals then straight to Olympics. Mj said he hit a wall couldn't hit anything. I understand in Mj case cause he averaged like 40 mpg. He also wasn't taking the Olympics serious he was up pass curfew and playing golf rounds of golf. Those guys are not in mj or lebron shap

They aren't that good. They are basically role players with inflated stats because of the warriors system and Curry. Kyrie is proving that he is a superstar no matter who he plays with. I think Kyrie is easily a top 10 player.

Yes. It's the system + Curry. Similar to guys like Julian Edelman and Wes Welker producing because of Brady + the pats system.

The Finals and now the Olympics have solidified the fact that Kyrie is on a higher tier than Klay and Dray. Klay and Dray just benefit from playing with Curry + the Warriors system similar to guys like Julian Edelman and Wes Welker benefiting from playing with Brady + the Pats system. Kyrie Irving is easily a top 10 player. Klay and Dray are somewhere between 15-20.

Irving is without question better than Klay Thompson. Green is a tough comparison because he's so unique and his skill set is so much different than Irving's. In terms of their respective roles, I might have to give the edge to Green. As pure basketball players, Irving is more talented.
