My dad wants to take the field over Usain Bolt against me. Should I take it? Is Bolt the heavy favorite here?

Justin Gatlin is his biggest threat. He had the fastest time earlier this year but he lost against Bolt in the finals meet. The only concern with Bolt though was his health going into the Olympics because he pulled his hamstring 4 weeks prior.

I'd never bet against Bolt though, he seemed to do just fine during the qualification run.

Wait, where is that Jamaican that was meant to be Bolt's biggest threat for years to come? Blake?

You want easy money?

Get on Usain in the 200m. He's going for the WR he says.

Even if he gets a slow start, he rounds them up with ease.

Hes there. He was injured and out of competition for the past 2 years though so hes not as much of a threat as he once was.

The consensus is that Gatlin is the biggest threat now. Hes actually on the older side now at 34 years old but he set his personnal record last year even though he tested positive multiple times in his prime years over a decade ago

He clearly found a way to beat the tests this time

Bolt has looked good this weekend, but he could pull his hamstring at any time.

Gatlin so obviously juicing. Guy got caught out, and now he's running better times than ever, at 34, and supposedly free of PEDs.

Bolt or bust. Noticed how the whole stadium left once his qualifying race was done :oldlol:

Anything can happen in the world of sports. Usain could get a false start and be DQed or injure himself. Or Gatlin could have the race of his life. I would say Gatlin's chances are slim though. Him winning wouldn't be as surprising as the Cavs coming back from a 3-1 deficit. One thing i noticed though is that Bolt performs very well under pressure while Gatlin seems to underperform a bit when he has a bigger name going against him.

Bolt will break the record tonight. He just ran 9.86 and pulled up at the end again. At worst he wins gold with no record.

I am predicting 9.6 flat but with the way Gatlin has looked Bolt will maybe slow down at the end again

Best athlete ever. Dude just wins.

I was going for Blake, but Bolt is nuts. Doesn't matter if he is behind, he just flies in the second half.

Cheating ass Gatlin looked like he had it for a second there. Bolt's too lanky. Like trying to outrun an ostrich.

What was he paying just out of interest?

lol one of the Aussie commentators was like "do you think Gatlin feels better knowing he got 2nd clean than to be the fastest man alive and labelled a drug cheat"?

I'm sitting there like, everyone still thinks, and assumes he is on something now. You don't start getting better at 34. :oldlol:

It was just $100 straight up. He took the field against Bolt.

He aint touching that 19.19 record. I think he was at his peak 3-4 years ago. Hes still obviously the best and in his prime but i doubt he will break his own PR. He ran all the way and didnt jog near the end (like he usually does) when he set it so he doesnt have much margin for improvement.
