Apple like any mega corporation want to have their cake and eat it. They want to be American in order to enjoy the protection of the court system (see the judgment against Samsung) and the military and they of course want access to the US marketplace and consumer but they want to avail themselves of cheap foreign labor and they don't want to pay taxes here.

They like their one way street and if anyone complains about this lopsided arrangement they must be a socialist or a communist. Give me a break.

Just face up to facts, corporations run America. The elections are just a pathetic waste of time and money. Whomever is voted in gets their bribe money to keep them quiet and then the corporations continue to run the country. America is not a democracy, it is a massive corporation, so shut up and just do as you are told.
Amazing how America fought to remove a government who taxed without representation and replaced it with a more corrupt one that does just the same.

No sense in having to repatriate money. This greatly disadvantages US companies abroad. Do any countries have the same policy for their domestic corporations?

Also, this is just another form of nativism in trying to force companies not to move headquarters.
