LeBron would get called for traveling every single play
Everyone that plays today would get called for traveling on every play back then.

The point is to put someone of Lebrons stature and talent in that era, growing up under those rules.

Lebron would average 5.5 offensive fouls per game and 8 turnovers(traveling) because 90% of what he does is technically a violation and would be called accordingly.

Assuming he came in the league with West and Big O.

Peak- 32ppg 13rpg 9apg

8 year prime of 29ppg 11.3rpg 7.5apg

Career- 27.8ppg 10.5rpg 7.3apg

I could see him taking Big O's 1964 MVP

He would have been playing Power Forward/Center against Thurmond in high school, so that's what he would have played in college and the NBA.

He would probably never average more than 2-3 assists.

Probably 14-16 rebounds.

The scoring is tricky. I'd say between 22-32, varying by year.

He would just be a very different player, with a different basketball IQ, and no knowledge of what's happened in NBA history.

And he'd probably only weigh 220 to keep up with the pace.

Injectable/oral HGH, HCG, Deca Durabolin didn't exist in the 1960's
So his physique would look nothing like it currently does.
Nor would he have had to get a jaw tumor removed in 2009 playoffs, so...
So probably very similar numbers to Elvin Hayes/Oscar Robertson.

Is he allowed to carry, travel, push off on drive... and play with no 3 point line, while constantly driving against 7 foot shot blockers?

Or are we transporting the 60's NBA to todays fixed WWE?

Different game. He is great player in today's NBA, I have no idea how he would play then.

Seems reasonble.

20 assists is a lot but you're on point with the rest. Maybe even more rpg.

Playing against midgets who dribble with one hand feels like a joke.

Something around 40/20/10/5 and ~10 blocks a games, considering the fact that they rarely called goaltends back then.

Depends on the year

2009 lebron in 1962

Probably something like 45-12-8 on 55% shooting if they order him to score

He isn't averaging over 70 points that's dumb

But his numbers would improve. I respect all eras but the nba did get progressively better as a whole, just based on full game footage.

9 assists seems legit . But 32 ppg and 13 rbpg too low for him . 37-38 and 17-18 more accurately , based on his peak level .

People realize that 17 year old Lebron was 6'7 without shoes and 240-245 pounds with like 7% body fat?

He became a bigger workout warrior in the league so I can easily see a grown man at 26 carry 255-260 pounds that's lean.

Best player out of a talent pool of 1 billion in 2016

vs

Best players out of a limited talent pool of 200 million in 1960, and the best players (blacks) were not even fully integrated yet.

So, my honest opinion would be around 37 ppg, 15 assists per game, and 15 rebounds per game. 3 blocks per game too and DPOY or DPOY runner up every single season.

I think we need to start over.

In this scenario, is LeBron born in the 1940s?

Or has he somehow traveled back in time?
