Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins came to the ring Monday night to call out the "Demon King" Finn Balor, but before Balor made his first main-roster entrance wearing his signature paint, a fan jumped the barricade and ran into the ring while Rollins was talking.
The fan got right in Rollins' face, and Rollins responded by shoving him backward. Security quickly jumped in and apprehended the fan. The invasion could barely be seen on the broadcast feed, Rollins' promo continued after a short pause (Michael Cole noted that Rollins was "in a trance"). This type of thing happens far too often in the WWE. In 2015 a group of fans in London stormed a match featuring John Cena, and in a separate incident in Canada a fan hit Roman Reigns with a briefcase. The fan was later arrested.
Balor's entrance, by the way, was fantastic.

Can someone tell me the appeal in wrestling after you grow up past the age of say 10 maybe? By then you know it is fake, and at the end of the day, you're watching a scripted fight?
Just curious, since it is just an opinion.
oh the horror

The same appeal that you watch any show that isn't real. It's brain candy with characters that perform their own stunts.
You sip a drink, shut down the ol' head for a bit and just watch them BS around. While the fighting is scripted and fake, there's a clear discernible skill and some performers are better than others both in the ring and on the mic.

Yes. Wrestling is cool for little kids but once you get past 10 to 12 you really should grow out of it

Have you ever heard of "live theater"?
Pro wresting is essentially theater mixed with athletic fighting and stunts.

Pretty much. Why would I care a wrestling match is fake....but not care that a movie fight is? The movie might get 90 takes and take weeks to prepare. These guys are going at it live...and it takes talent. Watch Dynamte Kid vs Tiger Mask...

And you know why people enjoy it.
These guys are impressive. It entertains...and needs no more justification than any other fake action on tv.
