Is Bosh still a star or is his washed up?

He just put up 19 and 7. He's still a star, but the Heat might try to medically retire him to get some of his salary back through insurance.

Dude was killing it before injuries

He has issues with blood clots which is absolutely nothing to take lightly. If he overcame that and can actually play consistently he'd no doubt be an All-Star, but the question is can he overcome it

I don't know about "washed up", he does have those life threatening blood clots though

I bet if you talk to him about retirement, you would want to partner up with him.

Washed up? I don't think that's an accurate way describe him. The last 2 seasons he played very well before the blood clot issues. If healthy, he's still a very productive, all-star level player.

Bosh is really overrated. He is a nice piece to have on defense to stop pick and rolls, and he can hit the outside shot, but I don't think he was ever as good as his numbers suggested.

I'd take guys like Boozer and Amare over him when they were at their peaks. I really don't think there was ever a time where he was a top 4 PF in the league.

Not skill wise, but health may end his career early.

Heat as a whole fell apart the moment LeBron left.

You do realize they were the 3rd seed last year and one win away from the ECF, right? With a healthy Bosh (or with with a healthy Whiteside in the ECSF) they would have made the conference finals. Hardly falling apart.

He is done, but that is because he can't physically stay on the court.

2010: 1st round exit
------------Enter LeBron
2011: Finals
2012: Championship
2013: Championship
2014: Finals
-------------Exit LeBron
2015: Miss playoffs
2016: Tied for 3rd in weak East with multiple teams, 2nd round exit

Relatively speaking, they fell apart.

These blood clots are really starting to hurt any sort of remaining future he has in the league. He can still be a 19/8 guy in my opinion if he can remain healthy.

Agreed, he's obviously a talented player, but holy shit how he got overrated by signing with LeBron & Wade in 2010. You have people on here to this day still calling him a superstar, and certain posters on here saying he was actually better than Kobe in 2010. For real though, he's on the level of Elton Brand/Zach Randolph
